The staff was very kind and helpful. Given that the entire restaurant is self-service be mindful that your food will come out... based on how quickly your order is and when it’s ready. The fries we good, but everything else was pretty lackluster. Thechicken in the chicken salad was very dry. The fried chicken plate was overly sweet. The cornbread was dry. This is def a placewhere you’re looking to get food quickly. A no-fuss kind of establishment but the food or drink is definitely not something torave home about. Read more

Updated 4/7/2022: every visit here leaves me with a pleasant experience! These guys never disappoint with the quality of the... food and a warm friendly service. From Mickey at the bar to Brianna, Katie and Adam, both my daughter and I received wonderfulservice. Compliments to the team. Great ambiance and service. We enjoyed the food and drinks and also the ease of placing yourorder. Very intuitive. It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing beer selection, food andservice. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Mickey at the bar is the quintessential host. Hetreats you like you've been a customer for years. Favorite place to grab a drink in Westwood Village! Broxton has the perfect combination of great food (especially their buffalo... cauliflower), huge drink selection with in-house and guest beers, and amazing (non-fratty) ambience. It is also located within aLA Historic-Cultural Monument and conveniently close to UCLA in case you need to be at the university for whatever reason. Read more

Came here with some friends not too long ago to revisit Ucla, my alma mater. This place seems like a new addition from when I... was a student. Food is but I don’t think the food is as good as the price indicates. You’re definitely paying a premium forthe location, especially outdoor seating. I’d stick to the brunch menu if you’re looking for something to eat. Be advised,this place operates via QR code ordering. Go for the drinks ????. A pitcher of one of their beers here is worthwhile, would recommend their IPA. While the food was... tasty, the price was not that pleasant. Especially when I am paying 20+ for a salmon fillet & small sides, I would hope thecooks would take the time to remove the grey meat from the bottom, I guess not though and I had to pick around it for myself.Fries were a tad overdone too. Tomato bisque was divine! A gorgeous space to spend some time in! We also stayed at our tablefor 3+ hours since I was catching up with a friend and the wait staff did not try to have us leave. Overall great for some goodbeer! *Edited to reply to the owner* Regardless of the price, I feel that every restaurant should put out their best effortwith food preparation, which includes removing greyed meat from the precious portion of salmon fillet and a great fry(especially for bars). I was thinking about coming back, but given how targeted the reply felt to try and 'correct' myexperience, when overall it was a good time and review, I will definitely be reconsidering. If someone cannot take honestfeedback (when it comes to the food preparation not the ordering process to try and deflect), not really a good sign for me.
