We loved this little Ethiopian spot. We got the meat platter and the veggie platter combined as well as some sambusas and... baklava. The sambusas we're surprisingly large. We really liked the lentil one. The Baklava was delicious as well. Compared withother Ethiopian places we've been too, we liked the vegetable dishes more and the meat dishes slightly less but everything wasdelicious. The veggie platter is a must have. Read more

Delicious coffee, great service, and a real nice vibe. The traditional coffee service is great as is the baklava.

Food is wonderful. We walked in for the first time and the smell instantly indicated that this restaurant has great food. First... time eating Ethiopian food, the flavors are beautiful and I love how it had some sour notes to it. We forgot to leave a tip, ourapologies. We will come back again and bring people with us. We won’t forget this time ???? Read more

Read reviews online and decided to go check it out. We weren't disappointed. I went with my mom and my niece and we all enjoyed... our food. I ordered the Doro Wat and it was delicious. My mom had two glasses of the honey wine which she really enjoyed. I liveabout 1 1/2 hrs from Los Angeles but I can't wait to come back! Great place with lots of traditional inspiration and a reallynice owner. Read more

Found out about this place on Reddit— it’s a small, modest little restaurant in the back of a little Ethiopian store that... sells spices and carvings etc. The food was exceptional— I got the garlic salted trout, and my husband got the vegetableplatter. So much flavor, and these plates were mild in terms of spicy heat. Would 100% return back. Read more

Awesome lunch experience. My friend and I were recommended their beef stew and fish. The fish was cooked perfectly and the beef... stew tasted delicious with a myriad of spices. They were served with a side of different vegetables and injera. Great place fora group to eat together! Read more

Buna is such a treasure. Excellent market section, such warm and friendly service from Eyob, and exceptional food that keeps me... coming back (even after moving out of state). My go to is the fish. So crispy and well seasoned with garlic salt, with tender, juicy white meat. They aren’t sparing with the lemon and even include an entire one when you order takeout, which I trulyappreciate. It comes with 6 flavorful veggie sides, including my favorite, shiro wot. Portions of sides and injera are generous, which is rare in restaurants. I’ve eaten here for years. Tried a bunch of other places in little Ethiopia and Buna is the oneI stuck with. The food quality has been consistently great, service is exemplary, I truly feel like I’m visiting family when Icome by. Read more

The food here is amazing! It was my first time trying Ethiopian food and I loved how colorful, tasty, well seasoned, and diverse... the veggie and meat combo plate was. The injera bread could’ve been warmer but besides that, 10/10 recommend this place! Read more
