This restaurant was amazing! Probably why it?s hard to get reservations. Every dish that we tried was delicious. The service was... great. Marcus was very knowledgeable of the menu and has great taste in food. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking fora great restaurant in LA. Read more

Great food & wine but too many BUTS to justify five stars. Had to ask to order food, poured our own wine, plates not cleared... before next course and bill put down without having asked for it. And the air con was freezing - I could barely eat the bakedAlaska desert due to being so cold after 1.5hrs. Would recommend on food & wine alone, but for that amount of money, you would(and should) expect it all to be absolutely top notch. Read more

My friend had her birthday dinner here and I read reviews before going so I was hoping we didn?t have similar experiences to the... people in the reviews. We are regular girls in our 20?s and we had an amazing dinner from start to finish. We waited about 15minutes for our table which was fine because the bar is beautiful so we grabbed drinks before while we waited. The bartender wassuper nice and the drinks were 10/10. When we were seated our table was kind of in the middle of the restaurant but I didn?tfeel like I could hear others conversations or that they could hear ours but when I go back I?ll definitely ask to be seated ina booth. The ambiance is amazing and the decor is stunning. It doesn?t feel like you?re in LA. I ordered the filet and it was sodelicious. I?ve been to Mastros, STK, and other steak houses in LA and this filet easily took the cake. It melted in my mouth. My friends ordered rolls and they enjoyed them as well. I can?t wait to go back! Pretty disappointing experience. Like others, we were made to wait about an hour for a table after showing up on time to our... reservation. Bartender and waiter were friendly / amenable, but really ridiculous to wait that long for a reservedtable. Ambiance was great, but food left quite a lot to be desired. We ordered a salad, sushi, some wine, and I got the bone-in12 oz dry age steak. Wine was great. Sushi was very generic. The steak was seasoned well but did not taste dry aged at all, andwas certainly not 12 ounces. Overall, just absolutely not worth what we paid. Read more

I love Catch LA and Catch in Vegas so I really wanted to love Catch Steak La but I didn?t. When we come the men at the door are... super nice and helpful, Ryan the door man is the best! There?s tons of paps outside which is cool if you like that stuff. Weshowed up on time but they still made us wait 30 min. So we drank at the bar. I had the Lady of the Night which is a nice sweetdrink and comes with a side of champagne. We got there at 845pm on a Saturday night and it seemed a bit empty in the bar area atfirst. The tables in this area were completely empty. The host comes to us to take us to our table and why is it one of thetables at the end of the bar that have been open the whole time while we were standing in our 6 inch stilettos at the bar? So weasked to move inside of the main room since they made us wait so long and they said it?s another 30 minute wait. So we said wewill wait then. Another drink and another 30 minutes later the place is loud and packed and we get seated NOT in the main roombut the adjacent Garden Room. We were all so annoyed, but it?s 945pm at this point and we needed to eat so just stayed put. Andunfortunately this was the loudest place in the whole restaurant because of the low ceilings so it made it hard to talk and heareach other. Our waiter Welder was nice. We ordered the Chilled Oysters, Caesar Salad, Sizzling Shrimp, Roasted Brussel Sprouts,Delmonico Steak, Baked Potato, and the Mediterranean Branzino. I loved the Oysters, the salad, and the Brussel Sprouts-sooogood! I did not like the Sizzling Shrimp at all it was so salty. The steak was ok and the fish was good. I would definitely liketo try different stuff in the future. The dessert people were getting around us looked amazing, so we will get that nexttime. All in all this place has potential to be great if they can work on the hosts and the waiting time. Next time my girlsand I come looking all dolled up, I expect to be seated in the main room and not wait an hour! Read more

We had a reservation for dinner. We were turned away due to not wearing appropriate attire. Seconds later, a group then shows up... in a Rolls Royce wearing pretty much the same casual attire. My sweater was Michael Khors. They valeted their vehicle. We choseto self-park on La Cienaga. The party who came after us were all let in without delay, along with smiles from the front doorhost. Seems like the restaurant prefers to pick and choose their customer base. Needless to say, we will not ever go back again. And can?t wait until the famous Caviar Kaspia restaurant of Paris, France eventually opens up directly across the street. It?sthe one that serves Kathy Hilton their famous caviar baked potato. Can?t wait! Catch Steak, just close already. There are plentyof fine dining steakhouses in the area that GENUINELY appreciate customer patronage from ALL walks of life. Read more

I?ve recently found out Catch Steak opened a location in LA, and I enjoyed my experience at the original catch LA, so thought... I?d check this place out. The experience exceeded my expectations! We were seated right away, the waiters were so attentive andfriendly, recommended us what to order based on our wants. We started with our drinks, I got the high mile, very sweet! Then wegot the Twice as Nice roll, which not surprisingly, tasted amazing as always. I would recommend getting the sizzling shrimp, itliterally comes out sizzling to your table. We got both the truffle butter filet and the imperial wagyu filet medium, and it wasone of the best steaks I?ve ever had! I was convinced to get medium rather than well done, and I?m glad I got medium. As for thedesert, I?d recommend getting the baked Alaska, you?ll also get a show out of it! 5 out of 5 best experience and great tastingfood, worth the money! Read more
