Simply delicious! If you haven't tried Japanese food besides ramen or sushi, this is an incredible entry-level option to check... out. This location is primarily outdoor seating, but they do have a few small tables inside. The service is pretty slow and theparking is a pain in Sawtelle... but it is all worth it for the good quality okonomiyaki! I recommend the Ika Ika Okonomiyaki, which is the classic with grilled squid on top. The squid is cooked on the firmer side and the pancake has A LOT of cabbage. Theportions are very generous! I really like that they give you the option to choose how your pancake is cooked (crispy or soft). Read more

Excellent! Crispy noodles, the right amount of delicious sauce. I didn?t think that cabbage could taste so yummy. My cabbages!... The waitstaff was also very kind. During peak times the wait time is 20 ish minutes cause everyone just wants a taste of thecabbages ! Read more

My first time trying okonomiyaki so take this review with a grain of salt. Objectively the food and dining experience was good -... we sat by the bar for a front row seat of the chefs making the dishes, and the waiters were incredibly friendly (service was alittle on the slower side, but understandable given how busy they were!). Personally the okonomiyaki was not my favorite - Iordered the seafood one and the crispy noodles were fun but the flavor profile was mostly salty with no acid/spice to balance itout, and it was overall a heavy meal. So it?s not my favorite dish, but from what I could tell it?s good if you likeokonomiyaki! Read more

My first time having okonomiyaki in the US and I?m so glad I decided to try this place. We ordered The Loaded (the one with... squid and shrimps) with the crispy noodles to share. The size was quite generous. The okonomiyaki was delicious and wellexecuted: cabbage was cooked all the way through, the squid and shrimps were the perfect consistency, and the crispy noodlesadded the best crunch. There also wasn?t too much sauce so it wasn?t too sweet. They do give extra sauce packets if you like itsaucy. Also, the service was great. Our waiter was so nice and took the time to explain the menu and walk us through all thedifferent choices. We?ll definitely be back to try the other flavors! Read more

I prefer crispy noodles over traditional. I wish the menu specified the ingredients of each because we were guessing blindly.... That said, I think the loaded one is the way to go. The Classic wasn?t very filling and the ?GOAM? is just Green Onions And Mayoadded to the Classic. It?s a bit overpriced for what it is but it?s fun to eat. Read more

Shop that specializes in okonomiyaki with different toppings. Make sure uiu add the mayo and sauce before you eat it! And make... sure you eat all layers at the same time to get the contrasting textures and flavors. Chinchikurinyaki ??????????: okonomiyakiwith beef filling instead of pork. Got this one with the more traditional soft noodles The loaded kaisen ??????????:okonomiyaki topped with squid and shrimp. Got this one with crispy noodles and I have to say I like the crispness of the noodlesmore. Read more

Food 4/5 Service 1/5 Atmosphere 3/5 Cost: Fair First time in this location and the service was horrible. Don?t want to get into... the details but I will not be going back there again. While the food was good, I don?t want to have a similar experience. Theservice ruined the food experience. If you?re thinking of going here, just drive a little and go to the one in DTLA. Read more
