Ordered Lamb Curry, Chicken Biryani (this alone is good for 2), and Garlic Cheese Nan. It’s all delicious and very tasty!... Chicken biryani has some crispy flakes and the garlic cheese nan is the best nan I’ve tried. We also tried the Gulab Jamunfor dessert which is sweet and perfect after eating curry. Read more

It was 8pm on a Wednesday night in Mid City when the hunger pains began. My partner suggested Crown of India Tandoori... Restaurant, as we have ate there once before & it was an unforgettable experience. I immediately thought they were closed as itis a family owned restaurant. However, they're open until 10:30pm! I was elated & jumped in the car to get down to therestaurant as soon as possible. We walked in & were immediately seated by Maruf. We already had a game plan of what we wanted.Veggie samosa, tandoori chicken wings (two orders this time!), & garlic naan bread. The first time we ate here we tried thechicken tikka masala & it was delicious! We had to try something else & this time we ordered the Vindaloo chicken because welove spice! We were served onion bhaji somewhat like an onion ring with our veggie samosa. The wings are unbelievably flavorful, some of the best chicken wings that have ever blessed my taste buds. Everything is actually full of flavor. This place is a musttry! We topped off the evening with the mango kulfi, what I describe as a perfect little mango ice cream to end the gloriousnight. Amazing family & service, thank you Maruf! P.S. some food didn't make it for pictures because we were so excited to eat! Read more

What a pleasure to see a business owner so passionate about his restaurant. I have been living in Los Angeles for over 9 years... and I have never seen someone so dedicated to his business. Wanting to learn and willing to accept any feedback. Also the foodis phenomenal. Read more

Went there on Christmas day and not sure if it was due to the festive mood or lack of effort, the food was pretty underwhelming.... Hoped for much better food from the reviews but we probably were unlucky. The veg food was so bad / undercooked that some of ithad to be replaced. The non veg food was a bit better since the kebabs were juicy and good. The curries were bad and chickendidn't really feel like it had meat. Also the fish was way overpriced since quantity was too little for the price paid. Thewaiter was pretty good and helpful but overall the food was underwhelming enough to not make it a place worth revisiting. Read more
