Skip the crazy lines in Little Tokyo and just come to Sawtelle for practically the same ramen. Seating in pretty small and... limited - won't accommodate any parties larger than four. Parking is horrible - will have to pray to find meteredparking. Service is good. Read more

I had my first ramen of life at this place and my stomach felt it like a cozy hug! The place by itself is so cute once it... imitate a japanese alley. the service was great and despite a queue (synonymous with good food) it was worth every second ofwaiting! Read more

We had the dinner there after a show. It was quite late and there was still a long queue outside of the restaurant. So I highly... recommend to get a number before heading there. The food was quite good. We had the ramen and cold dipping noodles and somedumplings. All good and delicious. The price is ok. The service was quite good except a waitress was a little weird but doesn?tbother us (to be honest ????) Read more

Daikokuya has different locations, and the one in Little Tokyo I heard is very crowded with long wait time, so we decide to go... to the one in Sawtelle. Also, you can join the waitlist on Yelp to reduce wait time. The ramen is decent. We feel like the brothdoesn't have a lot of flavors going on; a little bland I guess. Gyoza is not crispy like we expected, but the filling isdelicious tho. Read more

I?ve been to the one in Little Tokyo but this one is more convenient to come to. It is honestly my favorite ramen place in LA.... I?ve had a lot of ramen in my day and this one has the best size noodles and the most flavorful broth. Highly recommend! Read more

This is a quick delight! I came for a quick meal and made it to their happy hour! The broth was rich and savory. Because I... ordered the half ramen bowl on the happy hour, I was overwhelmed with a lot of bean sprouts. So heads up! They also have hotsake and beer. Staff was so chill. It wasn?t packed or a long wait at all. If you?re looking for a quick bounce back come herefor their happy hour! Read more

Went here with some friends yesterday and we ordered a bunch of things. Pretty much everything was good, and some items were... very good. Loved the Gyoza - probably the best item we had yesterday. The sausages were very good too. The fried rice wasdecent, but didn't stand out. Thought it was a little drier than I like. The spicy ramen was good! Not particularly spicythough. Good service. We had a group of 6 and was able to get seated outside in under 20 minutes, at 6:15PM on aFriday. Inside the restaurant looks like crowded Tokyo streets - thought it was interesting. Read more

Great broth, good overall ramen experience - they even have vegan version. The vibe in the restaurant is darkish cramped Tokyo,... very unique. They have lots of choice in addition to ramen they have sashimi, katsu, and more. The food is served pretty fast,be careful as it will be hot. Staff at the restaurant is friendly and attentive. The also have outdoor seating, a bit noisy asit is next to traffic. Read more
