Great Vegetarian Mexican restaurant with terrific service and ambience. Many dishes are labeled vegan on the menu and some can... be customized to be vegan including the Enchiladas Mole Poblanos, which I enjoyed. The Los Tres Amigos salsas and chips werereally good. The rice and beans made a good accompaniment to the main meal. I look forward to going back and trying moredishes. My family members had the Enchiladas de la Novia (although they were not huge fans of the sweeter sauce) and theTlayuda del Mercado which was huge but apparently very tasty. I Read more

The plate presentation is better than the actual food itself. I found the weekend brunch menu leaning more toward lunch than a... breakfast/lunch balance. The huevos rancheros were pretty good. It was a small plate to share especially for it’s $13 pricepoint. I would recommend you order this plate in addition to others. The planta bowl was delicious and a little easier toshare. I also added on a side of potatoes to help supplement our order. The corn on the cob was seasoned well and I ate itentirely, but $12 is steep for a whole cob. I preferred the Hibiscus mule over the breakfast spritz because it had a littlemore sweetness. I don’t think that anything that I ordered was terrible, but it wasn’t great. The atmosphere was lovely,but that was about all. I recommend de buena planta for drinks after you’ve eaten somewhere else. The whole staff washospitable and friendly. Even when there was a delay because the power in the kitchen went out. They were apologetic and madeevery effort to rectify the hour long wait for food. Read more
This place is a hidden gem!! The atmosphere is tranquil and calming. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. You can truly just... sit and have great conversation over amazing food. As a vegan foodie, it is often hard to find really good vegan food. De BuenaPlanta has something for everyone. I was able to get great vegan food but they also have vegetarian and meat options. You would never know this lush tropical oasis existed off of Sunset in Silver Lake, even when standing at the doorway of the... entrance. The setting is fantastic and perfect for warm nights of LA. Normally I’m not a huge fan of an all plant based menubut everything was tasty and there was a variety to choose from. Cocktails were also good! Only thing to consider is that theirtables are either low coffee table level or high barrels w nowhere to put your legs. But that was a minor inconvenience whileenjoying the fantastic atmosphere.
