The staff seem frantic and over it. I got served by a Leslie, she didn?t greet the person in front of me or myself at any point,... wouldn?t look up, or let us know someone was going to be with us. I asked her a question and she automatically went to repeatingthe ?would you like fries with that? up sell. No thanks or anything after transaction. Dont know whats going on with pollo loco, but ever since covid19, I have had nothing but disappointing experiences every time I... have went to various locations. I have had food missing, ive been over charged for items not received. This last time I waitedat the drive thru window for over 10min and it was raining...worst part was that all i was told was if i could hold on for asec..and when the employee finally took my order i went to window and tried to pay using ebt and was told that ebt was onlyaccepted inside restaurant, and this has happened to me at other locations, even tho they have the inside locked and they forwhatever reason choose to not allow customers to come inside to order? I told employee that how Could I if inside was closed soI was told that i would need to give my pin for card. Which after a while they were able to charge but they only gave me thereceipt for the ebt and not the pollo loco receipt and i had ordered the 12 piece meal because I had a mobile app coupon i usedand so after an extremely long time waiting for my food..they handed me the bag that was tied and i went home to find out that Iwas only given 10 pieces of chicken and the chicken was overcooked and charred so very dry and not the usual delicious chicken iexpect from pollo loco and I was also shorted one of the sides, so i only received 2 sides instead of the 3 that came with mymeal. I am seriously contemplating not eating at pollo loco anymore because of the continuous bad service, and the bad qualityof food given or not given everything i paid for. Pollo loco has been out of many items from salsa to the tostada bowls andflour tortillas..and there is never a reason why or any kind of intent to make up for not having items on their menu. What isgoing on with pollo loco??? For now I will not continue to pay for food that is not what I am accustomed to getting and fortheir terrible customer service from their employees. I'm a diehard el pollo loco fan I love the tortilla soup and chips with guacamole. I ordered there recently and the soup was... literally just broth. There was literally no full pieces of chips like I understand some being broken but it was literally justbroken pieces of chips. Upgraded location but employees struggle to keep it tidy for some reason. Double chicken tostada salad got so tiny you need like... 2 of them now?and, you guessed it right, the price of it went up? Gotta ask for the lid for your cup, I know save the planetand all that, but at the same time I?m getting that huge lid for my Tostada salad just to open it 5 seconds later once I sitdown by the table?.not so green Read more
Worst pollo loco drive thru experience ever. Beans, rice, and gravy were packaged with aluminum foil lids and spilled all over.... Churros were super greasy. The service here is excellent! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Yes, they were out of a lot of items including tortillas,... certain salsa, mashed potatoes, macaroni, and large cups, to name a few. But the service I received made up for it! Great food,great customer service! Read more
