This El Pollo Loco is much like the rest of them. It is a chain and they serve good chicken. We dinned in and the staff was... very nice and pretty fast. The place was clean and we were quite happy. Their chicken is very tasty. They also have great sidedishes. The mac and cheese is very good. Their little cake deserts are yummy. You can get a whole chicken or have some in aburrito, taco or pretty much what you want. I would not suggest this place for a vegetarian or a vegan. Worse experience ever I ask for chicken salad I end up getting a soup salad didn?t realize until I got home my salad was soaked... with juice and water. I called to complain about it and Kevin (manager) told me come back I drove back to get my refund but itwas a pretty long drive since I?m not from that city. Order the chicken al carbon combo got this. Dry chicken, no onion or cilantro, no salsa, and some stale taco shells. Looks like... they just throw my stuff in the container. My chicken tostada was soggy also. Very disappointing! Read more
I was at the drive thur. Like for 40mins to get old chicken mix with fresh chicken on my sons pollo bowl. It was old foul smell... chicken. Disgusting. I had to throw it away and give my son my chicken pieces from my salad. This had been the third timedisappointment on this location. Earlier today I went to Pollo Loco and it was such a great experience. The line at the drive thru wasn?t too long and it moved... at a fast pace. The food was warm & perfect. I will be returning again! 10/10 recommend. Read more
DO NOT ORDER FROM 5800 VERMONT IN LOS ANGELES! Several order have been made at this location. We are always giving them a... chance to do better because nobody is perfect. But it keeps happening and we are paying for a service minus the mishaps. Well,customer service is everything and they lack that along with being professional and proper home training, clearly. The lastorder placed at that location(11.22.22) for delivery which you know cost even more was missing items along with items receivedbeing wrong. When the call was placed to inform them a fast talking young lady answered and told me to either come in and theywould give me what I paid for. Well, the reason the order was delivered was because that wasn't an option I had. I stated to herto refund the money for the missing items back to my form of payment. Expressing that to her meant nothing. She rambled speakingso fast that i couldn't understand her, then said her manger said something. She then told me to contact the delivery peoplethat I ordered it with. When I stated it was placed through the El Pollo app she said well contact them. I expressed how rudeshe was and how that was bad business on their part and the company, she hung up. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name butbecause everyone working there heard her and did nothing to stop her behavior they are all accountable. Times are hard anddifferent for us all and we all need our jobs to survive even more so now. But customer service will always matter in this worldas we walk through life and anything less than is truly sad and disheartening. To the young lady that will more than likely notstop what clearly she has been doing, please do better for yourself and remember you are representing your parents whom I wouldlike to think raised you better than that.
