Extremely slow service. They have people who clearly and visibly show they don't want to be there, don't want to work, and... simply want to stand around. Getting your order taken can take up to 9-12 minutes, and 8-10 minutes for it to arrive. On top ofslow service the store is always dirty, the quality of food does not meet the price, and half the staff needs to be let go.There are a few workers there who are great and actually working more than they should be, but they are heavily overshadowed bythe people who can't or won't work. 1st time ever having a awful experience at a El Pollo Loco. My experience there ruin my day! I was so mad after that incident. I... ordered this avocado chicken bowl thinking I am about to enjoy my chicken avocado meal like I always do to my surprise Iencountered my Chicken was demolished instead of being chunky like always. Then to top it off they served me more rice and beansnot even the right portion of chicken. And just to put the cherry on top of this you could literally hear who ever was choppingthe chicken like if they were mad at the world oh also the cold slaw was so dry it wasn't even coleslaw ! It was dry slaw. Let'snot forget all the extra bean juice that was in my bowl I should just ordered bean soup lol then to make things more interestingthere was back to back one after another of customers complaining just to find at the end of this whole experience that they hadno cook! I was so disappointed, usually the chicken is fresh and whole but today I was so devastated . This chicken was dry and crummy... and it looked like it was the left overs of the bottom of the pot. I?ve had this salad before and had fresh juicy chunks , buttoday ugh. I asked the girl who gave me my order if I can get fresh chicken n she told me that?s how this chicken is?. When traveling I often look for lines as an indication of what fast food restaurants will be a good place for a quick bite.... Lines always seem to suggest either great value, great food and when lucky both. Since I like to try places that are notavailable where I live this was an amazing little find. The condiments were fresh, the young man was helpful and patient with meand my questions and the flavour of their chicken was amazing. If you ever find yourself in a place that has an El Pollo Locograb a few pieces of their chicken with some corn tortillas, and go to town with all the fresh condiments. Waited to order 15 minutes. Once I ordered it took 20 minutes to get the the window for food. Once I get there the credit card... machine is broken. I waited for it to restart(there was a huge line behind me as well) once restarted, it still didnt work. Theysaid they cant accept my card and that I need cash.
