Truly a great meal. The quality of I gredients and the depth of flavors was wonderful. Pricy, but worth it.

Great food and unique creations. Fresh pasta and really great pizza. It was more of a culinary experience to have dishes come... out back to back and share them with the people you come with while you get to try the dish and talk to one another about it.The atmosphere is really great too. The outdoor portion has a very unique feel like a hidden gem. Read more

Where to start? We went for a double date with some foodie friends of ours. We?re very excited to a) go to a restaurant and b)... experience something with Funke?s finger prints on it. Initially, the experience was great. Typical LA scene, almost made youforget about the pandemic (except for all the PPE, limited seating, and having to awkwardly order the entire meal all at once). The panzanella salad came out and was awesome. But that was about it. The rest of the food (3 pizzas and 2 pastas) were grosslyover salted. I mean - not just a little bit of salt, it was physically uncomfortable-to-eat-salty. Minus the salt, the flavorseemed like it would have been good. But wow. Would have been better off licking a salt block. The pizza crust tasted burnt andwas completely underwhelming. Then valet lost our car key, and the next day we had a string of fraudulent charges on our Amexfor an Avis and Marriot Courtyard - both within a mile or so of the restaurant. The experience here has firmly taken Felix offour list of places to dine. What a let down. What a let down for Evan Funke himself: the man, the myth, the salt king andneglector of quality control. Do yourself a favor: stay home and order a dominos well done. You?ll save a lot of money (over$400 for 2 couples), and will have your car and credit card in tact in the morning. Our new phrase is ?We got funked atFunke?s?. Fingers crossed you don?t make the same mistake. Read more

Finally a real Italian pizza in LA. I have never tasted a crust like this here. Real taste of Italy.
