This is a haunt for my hubby's family. They made room for 12 of us recently...mildly unscathed. The pastaS are yummy...we... tried basically everything except the spagetti and none of the pastas ordered made it to a to-go box. Bravo! The pizza isgood, but there is always room for improvement. It tastes great as left overs. It's small joint...but too bad they can't usethe back area for to-go/drive up orders. The food is great enough to tap into with success per my sister. Read more

We've been coming here for years now. Main favorite dish is the Lasagna. We always enjoy that. The pizza has been too cheesy... recently, which the family is not a fan of....It gets in the way of the crust or becomes to salty. Overall, I'd recommend thisplace to anyone who is in the neighborhood and is looking for a good pasta/pizza joint. Read more

Been coming here since 1995 this place is nostalgic, my dad used to bring us here when the original owners were still working.... It is the closest you will get to eating authentic Italian food. The pizza is my personal favorite but their lasagna, ravioliare also amazing. Read more

Cash only!!! Prices are really low and the food is amazing. The pizzas are literally LARGE! My husband says he has been coming... here since he was a boy and he sees the same workers. I guess that's why you get workers with an attitude but again it's part ofthe history and their culture. Customer service could be better ???? Read more

Best pizza I?ve had in a while! I loved the thin crust because it had a nice chew despite being thin crust. The service was... super fast and I liked watching the staff stretch out the pizza dough through the window as I walked in. I got the cheese andchorizo and it was really tasty. Cash only so go to your bank or ATM before you arrive. Read more

Picked up a large order of pizzas to go for a small get-together while visiting the Highland Park area. Ordered 7 large pizzas... ranging from the Deluxe, Vegetarian, Margherita, and Cheese. Also, ordered a few Antipasto salads and Garlic breads. If youcall, be ready to order as they're very busy and want to take your order quickly. However, they are very thorough in confirmingyour order, price, and estimated time. For my large order, they quoted 45 minutes which was exactly right as I arrived 45minutes later as they were packing my last pizzas. As far as the pizzas, it's a classic Neapolitan pizza which you see themmaking by hand and cooking in the oven behind them. Pizza was large, thin, had a perfect charred crisp, and made with freshingredients. Pizza tasted just as good as it looked. I personally preferred the Deluxe, but all were equally as flavorful andconsistently made. I can see why this has been a neighborhood favorite for many years. Read more

We drove 25 minutes because of the good reviews. Big mistake. The plan was to share a sandwich for lunch and save the pizza for... dinner. Let me start by saying that this was the WORST sandwich I have ever had. The bread was so hard and dry. They put nodressing on it at all so that just makes it worse. There were 2 small slices of tomato on the entire thing and wilted lettuce.Who looked at this sandwich and thought it was ok to give to a paying customer? Even after I put mayo, mustard, new tomatoes andnew lettuce the sandwich it was still bad. Flavorless and hard. I am expecting the pizza to be a disappointment as well. Thereare 10 pieces of sausage on an XL and about 6-8 pieces of pineapple. I am seriously disappointed....again. Another $40 down thedrain for mediocre food. It seems like businesses don't care about the quality of their food anymore and you would think thatsince we're in the middle of a pandemic they would want to keep customers coming back. Edit to add that the pizza does also disappoint. The cheese tastes like imitation cheese, the sauce is runny and tastes weird and we do not like the sausage. I donot understand how this place has so many good reviews. I guess people will like anything if it saves them a few bucks. Iwouldn't eat any of this food if it was free. Total waste of money.
