Lovely location with a large back patio, restaurant seems set up for mostly outdoor dining and I would suggest coming here for a... quaint date night. Wowww. Stellar food and hip, modern ambiance. They have an adorable back patio that’s quiet, spacious, and feels like... someone’s home. Service was great, and everything on menu looks amazing. They have natural wines too. I got the spicy porksandwich — incredible. Complex spice, fresh herbs, and great bread. Worth every penny! Read more

This little gem hides itself quite well; I've lived in the area for over six years, and I didn't even know it existed until now.... I'm quite glad I came! Immediately, I was transported to another locale, light years away from the dumpy neighborhood of LincolnHeights, where this little restaurant resides. The waitstaff are efficient and friendly, and the food is excellent. Go for thefood, and come back for the ambience! Read more
This place is top notch. Waiters are mad friendly, and very personable. Vibes are PRIME, sit outside in an enclosed space with... the pristine LA weather. Food is mouth watering. The amalgamation of flavors in the bowls can't be beaten. Not too bland, nottoo spicy. Make sure to get the fried egg on top, as the chefs cook this to perfection. Oh yeah, also, not too expensive. A perfect sandwich! I’ve been twice now and both the pork and the chicken sandwiches are delicious. Flavorful and tender meat,... nice pickles and Mayo, on fresh crunchy bread. The cold brew was also really good if you need a caffeine boost. So glad to havethis spot nearby. A huge plus that pickup was easy and safe. Read more
Love everything about this spot! The patio out back is a super cute oasis - the perfect place to enjoy Gamboge’s yummy food.... The pickles that come with the pork platter were the best ever, and loved the grilled lemongrass beef numpang sandwich. Thewhite gourd juice made a unique, slightly sweet & smoky refreshing drink. Everything was very clean and tables safely distanced.Can’t wait to come back! In fact, it was so good we’re planning to order takeout dinner again tomorrow :) Read more
