the food tasted great, presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were so unique. however, i would probably not return or... recommend the place because of it?s crazy prices, small portions, and weak drinks. i went with 4 people and they recommended8-10 whole plates for the table, which was far more than we were expecting; they were right though ? when we got our entrees, they were legitimately half to third of what we would expect of a normal entree at another restaurant. it seems like therestaurant focuses on quality and uniqueness over quantity, which is good for a one-time splurge but not much else. it didgenuinely taste good (we loved the green beans, sourdough, and steak entree), but we had to order so much to actually feelsatiated. This place was AMAZING! I loved the decor, the atmosphere and the food! I don't think I had one bad thing. Went with family for... my brother's birthday so we ordered a lot of different things on the menu and we literally scarfed them down the second they hitthe table. Desserts were delicious too! Fantastic experience with amazing flavors. Polished but very cozy atmosphere. The sticky pork shank was my favorite. The... dessert was a plantain cake with espresso-mascarpone mousse was amazing. I don't like coffee but the flavors balanced very well! Read more

Great place to enjoy multiple fun dishes with top notch service. Your water will be refilled before you even notice they are... getting low. Had several dishes here and each one was uniquely fun and delicious. The green beans and hamachi were my personalfavorite. But everything from the duck tar tar to curry was delicious. Even some of the items such as the skirt steak that mayhave not been the best we?ve ever had were super unique and fun to eat. Really good for experiencing different flavors inawesome open atmosphere. Read more

Absolutely my favorite restaurant in Los Angeles right now. I had gone in Chicago a few years ago and have been to Girl & the... Goat L.A. for dinner three times now. Chef Izard is truly a food genius! The entire kitchen and front of house team do anamazing job. Everything is so delicious, I did a shoulder shimmy after almost every bite. The food is packed with flavor butstill well balanced and the menu draws from numerous culinary regions and traditions. Already starting to plan my next visit! Read more

Absolutely loved it. My friend specifically requested this place for her birthday dinner, it is tough to get a reservation on a... weekend night and I can see why. The art, the decor, the music, and the food!! Everything was so great and aestheticallypleasing that we wished there was a dance floor there so we could just stay and enjoy the night. We were please with the flavorsand cocktails. Will be back and will be trying sister restaurants! Read more

This place is sister to the namesake and iconic Chicago restaurant, and is definitely establishing itself firmly in the LA... culinary scene. Went for brunch and it was just the ideal that one always longs for - creative, fun, and tasty - - everythingcrumpets: almost every table ordered this and there wasn?t for no reason; really liked the fluffy crumpets themselves and thesmoked salmon with other pickles and stuff went really well with that - pork belly chap chae: quite surprised to see what itactually was; a bowl of glass noodles, felt very Asian, but also hard to relate it to any particular dish; refreshing, and justthe sort of lovely dishes that words won?t do justice and one has to try - yogurt & granola: very aesthetically presented andtasted even better ;) The nice location in the art district plus the large well-designed indoor and outdoor spaces are worthmentioning too. Again, highly recommend, and will come back and try dinner! Read more

Let me tell you. I?ve eaten all over LA for years, and this was probably the most exciting culinary experience I?ve had so far.... The combination of flavors and textures in each dish were new and astounding. We ordered 9 dishes between 3 people and werestuffed. Everything was extraordinary but the stone fruit salad and the GREEN BEANS were my personal standouts, cause I?ve neverhad anything like em. If you go late at night on a weekday, there?s plenty of street parking :p Read more
