I dined here a few times and never had to wait a long time, maybe 5-10 mins. They're cool by allowing one person to dine in... since some places will not let one person do hot pot. They have different options for soup, but I always get the tom yum (notremember)/spicy and tomato soup. The soup is $5-10/pot, and you can take it to go if you cannot finish it, which is excellent. However, the soup taste is missing something and could do better. On top of that, you can order different options formeats/seafood. I always do the seafood and veggie platter since it's a great deal with various sorts of stuff at less highprices. They charged around $2 for the "make-your-own" sauce, and I think it's free for the rest, such as fruits, desserts, andappetizers at the saucer section, which is excellent as well. While dine-in, they will give you a hair tie to put your hair upsince it might be smelly or the distinguished smell stuck to your hair. There are plenty of spaces and areas inside, and thereis a waiting area outside and a bar in the front when you walk in. Check out their restroom when you're here. Also, they haveextra amenities to get ready after meals, such as mouthwash, hair ties, toothpicks, etc. Read more

I had hotpot dinner and lunch at this location with friends, boyfriend, even myself. All of the memories at Haidilao Century... city was amazing! They have a plenty of option of soup bases; I really do like the spicy flavor soup which is called Sichuanspicy flavor. Unlike the other spicy broth, Sichuan spicy broth doesn?t have a heavy taste. Besides that, my another favoritewas white soup base and a mushroom soup base. I recommend to visit this place with mainland Chinese friend for the first time soyou would be more easy to find your pace& what side dishes that you are going to order. The most epic moment in this place wasthat they put the Mr. tomato doll at the front of my seat when I eating food myself. It was a cute and funny moment in my entirelife. And I really do like dancing noodle performance which is cool& noodle taste is fantastic. Food quality is amazing and theprice is reasonable~ Read more

Overall its good but pricey. No refills on soft drinks and charge sauce bar for 2.99 per person. It is a marketing! Its like... must have sauce for dipping but they charge. For 3 people bill came out 300 Included tip of 18%. Basically $100 per person. Notcheap and Not reasonable!! Read more

It?s hotpot weather right now in Los Angeles. Haidilao never disappoints in terms of hotpot. Instead of sticking to the typical... beef, pork and chicken try lamb, duck intestines, pork neck, bamboo roots, shrimp paste, tofu noodles, tofu rolls, cabbage andbokchoy. And make sure to get one soy based sauce and another sesame sauce. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Lunch wasn?t so busyand the service was great as usual. We loved our Tom yum broth and the mushroom broth. The only gripe is the hefty parking feesince they don?t validate. We ended up paying $19 for parking. Read more

Great Hot pot experience. I loved the veggie broth and veggie platter. I'm not a fan of meat. I loved the drinks. It was all... automated using the electronic pad. I get that the it is the authentic Chinese experience, but I was having difficult eating outof the the dip size container and the small dessert size plates. The chopsticks ???? we're too thick and long - i think ????they were gigantic ans kept falling off on the table. Other than that the taste was amazing and the buffet had a few options toadd for a side like matched potatoes with skins and dried soy beans, some sea weed and spiced sauces. The lychee dessert wasvery good, but no sugar which was a bit tasteless. All in all it was a healthy food experience that I enjoyed. Service wasamazing and water with lemon with serving trolley was convenient to clear the table clean. The star off was for the utensil. Read more

Whether you have tried hot pot or not this has to be on your list. It?s quite an adventure.. you cook your choice of ingredients... in the soup base you picked. Ain?t it cool? We had the real spicy soup base and we were in food heaven :) Besides the maincourse, their mini side dish and sauce bar is also quite impressive. Then, I have to praise their excellent service andattention to detail. They provided us aprons, hair bands for the ladies, endless napkins and plastic bags for phones! I guess itcould get messy quick! If you want something different and don?t want to wait hours for dumplings then check this place out. Read more
