It's approachable, it's reasonably priced, it's different, but still familiar. Props to the effort and work Chef Min and his... team have put in day and night ! I was pleasantly surprised with the mix of flavors and Korean influences in all the dishes weordered. When you want Korean classics you go to the tried and true Ktown spots. At Hanchic you kinda know the dish and you seethe flavor flairs and you go, "Oh, that's interesting...." And interesting then leads to, "Oh, that's great!" This casual+ spotis fairly intimate and offers a solid list of whites, reds, and orange wines as well as some canned beers, cocktails, andbottles of great craft soju. A great place for a date or small group of friends to get together. A am looking forward to thenext warm welcome from Min and his new pocha/street food inspired menu. Read more

Amazing little Korean wine bar in a part of Ktown that I've never visited before. Everything on the menu here is fusion and they... do one hell of a job thinking of the recipes and creating dishes that wow your mouth and mind. The servers are respectful andcourteous to your needs and questions. They'll answer everything you ask and suggest dishes if it's your very first time. Myfriend and I decided to try a few and share since it was our firs time and we loved every single one. However, looking back atit, we would skip on the Bolognese Dumplings (I believe); I ate here back in May. Nothing against the dish but I think we bothagreed we could've ordered something different than that dish. I also appreciate the fact they give you testers on their alcoholif you're not sold on the name. Though some are not cheap if you're on a budget but at least you get a preview of what you'llorder if you're going to spend +$30 on a bottle. The one we tested went down smooth and tasted amazing. So much in fact that wewanted to buy our own at a wine shop in DTLA but was unfortunately closed by the time we finished our meal. I'll definitely comeback for more because the food is to die for. An absolutely standout restaurant. So incredibly delicious. Fun Korean fusion restaurant. Plates are on the smaller side but... priced very reasonably for the quality and taste. Four dishes split between two people was enough and made it possible to tryall the different flavors. The galbi jjim and risotto were especially delicious. Very cool and trendy interior. Slightly on thesmaller side. Making reservations is probably best Read more

Love the food in this small restaurant serving modern Korean fare. Chef Justin Min recently changed the menu so it’s less the... Korean Italian fusion he originally offered. The boolgogi risotto, dweji dubbap and galbi jjim are absolute must haves. His takeon shrimp toast includes tuna. The pork hoppang is melt in the mouth and spicy delicious. I was looking forward to his blacksesame panna cotta but he didn’t have any last night. The food is exciting and I’m looking forward to trying other dishes. Read more

Loved this place! It was my first time and I live very close so I can go walking. It was really a finding! I got the ramen, the... broth is light but super flavorful and the oxtail was very tender. The portion is great too. Also the customer service is great!Super polite and attentive. Always coming to the table asking if it’s all good. And the check comes in a very cute book. Inshort, they really pay attention to details. I really recommend! Read more

A nice find in LA. Located inside a strip mall, this restaurant serves Korean-Italian fusion dishes that blow the mind of your... tastebuds. They also serve regular Korean dishes such as ??? (Marinated braised beef rib), ?? ??? (Cheese on rice cakes), Koreanfried chicken. But, try the crazy fusion dishes first! Only downside is you’re required to use the valet for parking, ifparking inside the strip mall. I didn’t find out until I had to go back to the car to get something. $3 for parking therewhether or not you have them park your car for you. Oh well. Regardless of that surprise info, try the food! 4.5 stars! Read more

Came here with a reservation on Friday and got seated immediately! This place is super cute and super new. Good: I really liked... the bulgogi risotto and the tteoki mac n cheese because it was just super unique and tasty. The risotto had a great amount offlavor and portion size. The oxtail ramen was tasty too and had a lot of food. The dishes here are all pretty small so it’sgood to share! Bad: I wasn’t as big of a fan of the pork belly buns since they had a bit too much spice and not enough flavorfor me. Overall would come again since the service was really nice too! Read more
