I really wanted to like it given they have a very cute patio with a fire place and a byob. Unfortunately part of the order was... not fresh - every item with salmon tasted stale. We enjoyed the outside fire pit area. The sushi and sashimi were high quality and worth the price. Similar to Hide sushi down... the street, but we appreciated that Hayama takes debit and credit cards, so this is our new favorite sushi spot for top qualitysushi. The food was amazing and the customer service was great. I brought acquaintances that didn't understand a lot of the food terms... and one didn't know how to use chopsticks. They patiently explained everything and we had a great time. Read more
Friendly staff and good quality fish in a novel seating arrangement around a large gas fire pit. Bring you own beer, sake, etc. ... They close at 9, with last call around 8:30.
