I enjoyed this way more than I thought I would. The chicken was above fast food level, and the fries were above casual sit-down... restaurant level. I want to try the different flavors when I visit again. Read more

Man, what happened to this place. This use to be one of our family go to but this last experience was rough. Food took forever... to make. The chicken wings were soggy and the caramel soy sauce was very salty. I hope it?s a one time thing because theylooked very understaffed. Read more

Before I get into the food, i want to give a shout-out to the customer service at this Highland Park location. Kudos to the... customer service!!! Initially, I bought 6 items for to go, however, when I reached home, found out that it was missing 3 of thesides. Gave them a call, the guy immediately apologized and refunded me. That's what I call a great customer service. I orderedthe 20 pcs flavored wings (Original, Spicy and Seoul Spicy), 2 Jumbo Tender, and Sandwich Tender combo. All of the tenders andwings taste amazing, one of the best Korean chicken I have tried. They fried the wings to perfection, crispy on the outside andjuicy on the inside. The spicy flavored wings are great, you can really taste the spiciness on them, but not overpowering. Myboys love the chicken tender sandwich and tenders. They asked me to buy it again next time. EDIT: Quality has gone down significantly. Been going to holdaak for over a year now and it is one of my favorite chicken... places to go. I usually order the 5 piece with fries. The chicken is delicious and portions are usually large, however, yesterday (3/16/22) they chicken was only half the size of the normal tender. My coworkers and I were disappointed, as we eathere often. We might be ordering less often since the prices have increased and the portion size went down. Read more

Had a hankering for some fried chicken and didnt want chicken from a large chain restaurant, so I asked Google (who knows... everything) for some suggestions. Holdaak was one of the top 3 near me. One was closing soon. Holdaak sounded good and wasclose by. I got the chicken tenders meal. The chicken pieces were a decent size and were moist with not too much breading. Places like Popeye's are half breading. Holdaak's tenders were very good. I'll definitely be back. I havent tried the spicyor Korean versions. The fries were good, but not great. They are "seasoned", but VERY mild. I am not a "spicy" person, butthe fries could have used a little more flavorful seasoning. Still, they were fine. Good, but not as good as the tenders. Asfor the toast... same as the fries. Good, but could have used slightly more flavorful seasoning. In summary, the tenders get 9 out of 10, the fries, 7 of 10, the toast, 6 of 10. All in all, a very tasty meal for a reasonable price. As I said, I'll beback! Read more

Four item menu. The best thing about the ?spicy? chicken sandwich was the bread. Skip the ?comeback sauce? it really tastes the... way it looks lol. Customer service needs improvement. Read more

Super nice. Good is awesome, and price is even better. I called ahead to ask about allergies (chicken tenders didn?t have dairy... but toast did so I asked for it to be separated, omitted the spice since it was for a spice adverse person). The rest was fairgame in terms of spice and dairy so I got the spicy and soy/caramel wings, the chicken sando (great) and an order of fries(spices came on the side). Great Korean fried chicken and chicken sando shop! Read more
