Great place for standard Indian fare. Like everywhere else, prices have gone up. The claim to fame of this place is that it is... the first Indian restaurant in Southern California. While this may well be true, I would probably question the history. In anycase, this is a no frills down to earth, over the counter, Indian restaurant. I highly recommend at least one visit, if you'venot been there before. Read more
One of the best places to eat in LA. Most authentic and the best service! I have been going here for more than 20 years and the... food is amazing!! Food was really really bad we ordered for few food first of all it was tasteless no salt at all the service was very slow the... ambience people were shouting and the staff was not saying anything to them... It seemed like the food was reheated not fresh..,I don't know what happened I usually eat food as a takeout from this place but today totally not up to the mark... Read more
