Great place for standard Indian fare. Like everywhere else, prices have gone up. The claim to fame of this place is that it is... the first Indian restaurant in Southern California. While this may well be true, I would probably question the history. In anycase, this is a no frills down to earth, over the counter, Indian restaurant. One of the best places to eat in LA. Most authentic and the best service! I have been going here for more than 20 years and the... food is amazing!! Food was really really bad we ordered for few food first of all it was tasteless no salt at all the service was very slow the... ambience people were shouting and the staff was not saying anything to them... Worst customer service. There food has a pathetic smell. Not eatable. It?s stale food. Not following covid precautions. Touching... food without gloves. This was our first time here. We were in the area and I was craving some comfort food. I sure came to the right place!... Absolutely delicious and authentic food! Made from scratch. This is a fairly good and very affordable Indian vegetarian small resturant. Their service is not bad and you can always call... and order and pick up later. They have tasty food and great Indian tea. Their rasmalayi is great among all other sweets theyhave. I think they deserve four out of five stars for what they are and how they do their services.
