This place made me feel like family. They also didn't rush me to make a decision (leaving me time to look at the menu). The... owner came around and told me what she just made last night, and she also told me about watching her grandson. I felt like areal valued customer. They also have a specific server in charge of refilling water, which I appreciated. I ordered the Jitladasalad, a yellow curry with crispy pork, and the mango curry with sticky rice. All of these things were at the recommendation ofmy server. I narrowed down the options for him and asked him to surprise me. I was so pleasantly surprised! Never have I had abetter mango sticky rice! Also perhaps the best curry I've ever experienced. Go to this place. Wait if you have to. It's worthleaving your little corner of LA to have some of the best Thai food available in this country. Read more

Love the southern curry with crispy pork. The crying Tiger beef is amazing. I?ve eaten here probably fifty times since 2017 and... the highlight was getting an off menu jazz burger from jazz herself :) Read more

Jitlada is a must try, not just due to Jonathan Gold's historic review, but that alone should give you an idea of what to expect... here. The food might not be 'exactly' what you're typically used to, but it is truly authentic to the region, southern spicyThai! And it is delicious. What's also authentic is the Thai contentment, happiness and general Land of Smiles service you'resure to receive. And I'm upgrading my atmosphere assessment to five stars. Why? Well again, it kind of just replicates beingsomewhere in Thailand. Not fancy but genuine. Read more

We really tried to like this place. As an Asian Australian who is spoilt with Thai food in Sydney. We had high hopes for this... place from all the reviews and LA YouTube vloggers but was sadly let down for the following dishes we had. Pad See Ew was alittle sloppy and the noodles had absolutely no char on it, which is a must for any good Pad See Ew. Beef Larb was cooked anddry, flavourful from the fish sauce. Jungle Curry with Pork ribs chosen from the owners recommendation, as we wanted to tastetheir speciality. Spice level was great however it was far too salty bordering on straight fish sauce. Mango sticky rice, Iordered this in hopes of a redemption, but was even more disappointed. The sticky rice was loose and resembled rice porridge. Itrequired more time to allow it absorb the coconut sauce which we did ourselves by mixing it through and letting it sit for a fewminutes. The mango was VERY sour, I did not understand why they would serve this dish if they knew the mangos weren't ripe? Wecouldn't finish this dish. When mangos are not in season, most restaurants back home would typically not serve thisdessert. For anyone visiting from Sydney, Australia. Save your stomachs for something else because I can almost guaranteeyou've had better back home. For those two know, this is Thai Pathong and Holy Basil prices for a lot less quality. Read more

Really amazing Thai food! Everything we ordered was so tasty, but the yellow curry was SO GOOD. I have no idea what they did to... the potatoes in it but my friends and I were in awe, probably some of the best potatoes I've had. They were so soft and butteryand honestly if I wasn't so full I would've ordered another round of yellow curry... Read more

A great place to grab some Thai food. The stir fried noodle is super delicious. Very well-seasoned sauce and the noodle soaked... up the sauce nicely. Ox tail is well-cooked. The dish looks like it is spicy, but not really, only a little. The roll isinteresting; kinda like a fusion dish imo. It is dipped in a honey mustard + hot sauce sauce. Tastes pretty good! I couldn'treally taste the hot pot because it is way too spicy - they put so many types of chilli in. Watch out and think before you orderthis. I bet it is good if you can handle the heat. Thai tea is yummy! Read more

Hand down one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. Absolutely amazing Thai dishes from a restaurant that's been around... longer than most of their customers! Reasonably prices and friendly staff. They have an expansive and somewhat intimidatingmenu with over 180 items, but I'm certain that whatever you order will be delicious. The morning glory salad and crispy duckspring rolls are a must try and some of the best dishes I've ever eaten. They always seem to be busy so be sure to come earlyas they don't take reservations and the wait list is posted outside. Read more

Very impressed with the offerings and qualities at Jitlada. Even with the recent change to takeout-only, it was still a special... meal and well worth the 30 minute drive. I ordered a Tom Yum soup, spring rolls, and Thai iced tea with boba, which came outquickly for a lunch order. I'm excited to come back with friends and order more dishes, as everything I had was delicious andfull of flavor! Read more
