I went here for the first time and it was great! The ambiance/energy was great. The service was 10/10 and the food was fabulous.... I got the spicy fusilli pasta and it wasn’t very spicy but I loved it. My friend got the margherita pizza and it was alsodelicious. They had a huge wine menu as well if you’re interested in that. I will definitely be coming back here! Read more

Wish I could give a better review but… I’ve made fresh pasta on a bad day that’s tasted superior to this, portions were... small and under seasoned. The waitress had no clue about the price of a bottle of wine and had to ask “her manager”. Thered sauce tasted a step up from canned marinara and the pasta was undercooked. Not sure why this place has 4 stars when thefood here is just “Meh….”. This place is trying way too hard to be upscale without putting the work in to craft pastadishes that actually warrant a decent reaction. Save your money and stay away. Read more

Always enjoy. Service excellent as always, “the sauce” is still the best. Desserts could use some work though but... everything else is good as usual Read more

We had a Easter dinner feast there and the food was excellent. Everything we tried was super delicious. Can't wait to go back.

Kid Approved ? Definitely Top 3 of best pancakes I’ve ever had. Eggs are awesome and believe it or not the kale (I know…... kale for breakfast?) but it was very tasty. I feel like eating kale with my eggs very time now. Read more

Was very excited to try the Slauson iteration of the already celebrated J&V’s and it did not let down! Make sure to grab a... reservation to ensure a smooth entry, things can get crowded quickly especially on the weekend. We started with burrata and thegem lettuce which were both great. The salad has some heat so be mindful of that, but we loved the twist to what would otherwisebe a typical be a caesar salad. Not sure you can go wrong with any of the za. Dough is thin, has a little chew, and just theright amount of char to make any toppings exciting. Pasta is also non-negotiable. We tried the fusilli, cavatelli, as well asthe cacio e pepe. Chef’s kiss. Thank you for thoughtfully bringing this establishment to South LA and supporting thecommunity! Read more
