Came here after a long day at universal studios and we loved it! It is a small gem run by a sweet man who is very kind. The food... was tasty, it was quite a large portion, and we got naan bread on the side with our meals. Really great quaint place. Wouldrecommend! Read more
Came in for weekday lunch. Absolutely hands down the tastiest Persian meal I have ever had. The chicken kabob was juicy and well... seasoned, the rice was perfect and the charred tomato and veggies was extraordinary. Added half a salad and we ordered theeggplant appetizer. I tried Kaban for the first time for dinner last night. I found the place through an online search for Persian food near my... house. I was blown away by the food! My roommate ordered the boneless lamb kabob w zereshk polow and I got the beef barg/beefkoobideh combo. We also ordered a side of hummus, ghoremeh sabzi, and the homemade yogurt drink. Everything was phenomenal. Meatwas flavorful and juicy; homemade hummus had a nice texture and flavor; yogurt drink was amazing. Portions are generous andservice was great! It's a one-man show with the owner running the whole restaurant including the cooking. Despite there beingmultiple customers he took good care of us and the service was prompt. We stopped there because it was the closest to us and also it had 4 stars in reviews. We got there right before sunset in March... so there was no other customers there. The food, however, was not as good as 4 stars and the owner/ the person in charge was notthe most welcoming host either. I give this place 3 stars only because of the amount of effort it takes to prepare that food andalso for the look of it. It was not as tasty but it was very good looking. Read more
Absolutely Delicious! The Beef (filet mignon) kebabs I can't stop thinking about. Tender, lean, aromatic. The rice was melt in... your mouth perfect and the grilled veggies so flavorful. Try the lentil soup. Very generous portions on everything we ordered. Aplus that they are quick off/quick on the 101 fwy. Read more
We weren’t super hungry but wanted a quick bite so we purchased the hummus plate appetizer and the boneless chicken kabob.... Good thing we didn’t get two kabob orders because the chicken kabobs came with so much food! It was delicious. The meat wasvery tender and quite fresh. I love the bold color from the saffron in the dish. Would recommend this neat eatery with rugs onthe wall and blue velvet couches which make it extra cozy and warm. Read more
Called in and placed an order but when I walked in the aroma of food was driving me crazy so I asked if I be able to eat inside... and he served in very nice dishes and served me. I am Persian and know food by heart , the food was so demand tasty. Willreturn for sure :) Read more
