Super impressed! I sometimes get a bit intimidated going to ultra trendy restaurants, but this wasn’t the least bit... intimidating. The staff were friendly, and the service was top notch and the crowd was casual. There was a lot to choose fromon the menu and the waitress was great in explaining everything in detail and answered all questions. When one fish turned outtoo spicy, she even took it off the bill (only one bite was taken). Everything I had was delicious, though for my taste, theonly problem was the Kiiro rolls were too lemony for my liking. As such, there’s nothing at all to fault the actual restaurantwith. The only issue I had is you’re more or less “forced” to pay $18 for valet. It’s crazy. Other than this, Koiis great. Decor, service and food are all fantastic. You must go if you live in, or are visiting, Los Angeles. Read more

What a meal. Everything was perfect start to finish. Really grateful to our server James for leading us in the right direction... with every dish. Every recommendation was right on the money. Truly a delight all the way around. Salmon carpaccio (with bakedcrab hand rolls to soak up the leftover sauce) was out of this world good. Read more

Amazing food as always, with great service from a very friendly team. I loved the crispy rice and the popcorn filet mignon and... the black cod. We had to wait outside for few minutes when we arrived, other than this, every thing else was excellent. Therestaurant gets very loud late at night. Read more

Average. Usually the food is better but my roll was not so tasty. They also brought my dish out 20 minutes before my friend. So... we didn’t even get to eat together? Seemed like they wanted to rush us out the door. Wasn’t impressed. Read more
