Love their outdoor seating area, with shades & also big plants around the cafe. Total privacy even when people walking by on the... sidewalk. The Service: Efrain & Danny were taking care our table. They were so attentive & thoughtful. Every time when Efrainpassed by our table, he would pay attention to what we needed (e.g. napkins, drinks refilled, etc). He would take care of itbefore we even asked! He was like a mind-reader~ Unbelievable! Also, Danny is super-efficient. The moment we finished the lastbite, the dirty plate was taken away right away. Their observation & efficiency are absolutely 5 Stars! The Food: This place isvery popular with their breakfast/brunch menu. But today we wanted to try their lunch menu. Vegetali linguine- vegetablesautéed in olive oil & parmesan cheese in marinara sauce. 2 pieces of bread on the side. Huge portion, perfect toshare. Balanced Plate - grilled salmon steak top with bruschetta sauce, assorted steamed vegetables, asparagus and Spanishrice. OMG! the salmon was prepared to perfection. Lots of vegetables. The Spanish rice is so flavorful! Very healthychoice! Calamari - this is always one of my favorite appetizers so got to try theirs. I love how they use big pieces ofcalamari and lightly battered. So each bite, I could taste the squid and not just big chuck of batter. The Parking: Broxton AveParking (1036 Broxton Ave), first two hours FREE (7am-5pm)!! It is only a few minutes' walk to the restaurant. There is streetmetered parking but sometimes it could be challenging to find a spot. Read more

The food is pretty decent although a little oily, service is attentive. Not a bad choice for a quick diner-style meal.

i'm a UCLA student so @lazydaisycafela in westwood was a convenient walk from my dorm. located on gayley, lazy daisy cafe serves... amazing breakfast, lunch, and coffee! Breakfast Quesadilla Waffle Special Strawberry Lemonade Vanilla Iced Latte my friend andi were both craving a sweet and savory brunch so we shared these two dishes, having the best of both worlds the portions werequite large and we even had leftovers. this is such a cute spot for a brunch right before classes so we highly recommend if youare a UCLA student or if you just are visiting the area! We came here for lunch on a Wednesday. The food here is fine, very normal quality for a cafe/diner. What I didn?t like very much... is that I don?t think this place is very clean. I sat indoor and saw many flys and small insects, the floor was a little dirtytoo. Read more

Wife and I went to this place when we were in Westwood recently. We wanted to go to the Lusk Center, but it was the day after... the Superb...errr, the Big Game, and it was closed. The woman who answered the phone told us it was closed and recommended acouple of nearby places for breakfast. Kudos to her. We chose this one cause it was close. When we arrived, there were fewpatrons. The waiter said to pick any seat so we sat outside. The wife had the 'two eggs any style' early bird special and I wentwith my standard, French toast. We also had coffee. Coffee was good. We would have had more, but we had to go. The two eggs werequite good, claims the wife. Came with toast and roasted potatoes, a LOT of potatoes. The wife was VERY satisfied. Eggs camelike she wanted, toast was good and potatoes were good. She would come here again. My French toast, 3 pcs., came with bananasand sliced strawberries. Now I am one who rarely eats fruit like this, when there is French toast that will soon be covered inMaple something soon. However, the banana and strawberries looked good so I thought I would try them. I am glad I did! Contraryto my nature, I ate ALL the fruit. It was good. Once the fruit was out of the way, I got down to business. Put some of the maplestuff on the toast and some butter. The first mouthful confirmed it. I WILL be coming back. The toast had some sort of spice inthe mix that I could not quite identify but which really made it special. Bottom line: We enjoyed our stop at the LazyDaisy. The only reason I gave them 4 stars was that the service was a little slow. Whether it was the waiter, the cook or justan act of God, I do not know. There were a lot more customers when we left than when we came in. The food did make up for thisshortcoming, though. Go and enjoy. Read more

I was invited to try out a few menu items for my food blog (@catrinoms), and I thought this was a great place for brunch! So... many delicious menu items to choose from, but my favorite was the carbonara ? yum! The outdoor patio is nice, and the decorinside is super cute as well. Should be a go-to brunch spot in Westwood! Read more
