Still one of the best Ethiopian food places I've ever been to and definitely my favorite in Little Ethiopia. The depths of... flavors they achieve with the cardamom and cinnamon alone is second to none. Highly recommend Read more

I love coming here to eat authentic Ethiopian food and especially if you are a coffee lover, love to smell, & taste it, then... they have best coffee. I enjoy eating food with hands, bread is just amazing and totally different experience when dining here. Read more

It was busy on a Sunday evening. We came for the first time and had high expectations because of the good rating. The... owner/manager was rude and pompous so that put a sour taste in my mouth. He kept trying to tell us what to order but wedidn’t want those items so he just walked away mid sentence and we never saw him again. He could take a hospitality course forsure. I ordered a vegan dish consisting of potatoes, carrots and cabbage - arguably some of the cheapest vegetables there are -and it was $18!! Not to mention the portion was more like an appetizer, not a main dish. My husband ordered a combo meal ofthree meats and his too was like a sampler portion. The injera bread was not fresh and is probably not made with teff flour, ittasted stale and was too spongy. We definitely won’t be returning here, save yourselves the trouble and try Lalibella orliterally anywhere else. Read more

First experience in trying eithopian food and didn't disappoint at all. A very cozy restaurant, service is a little slow but... overall was a nice experience. We ordered sambusa for appetizer and it was different compared to indian Samosa as it was made oflentils. The food is really not spicy at all. The vegan combo of collards, cabbage, chana dal and some red curry made of lentilswas really nice with the injera. The baklava was however just ok. Would totally recommend for first time experience. Warm colors, a cozy decor, and mellow jazz greet you when you walk through the door. We got the Lamb Wot. The sides are so rich... and bold but not overpowering in any way. It's the berbere spices. They are ridiculously delicious. Kind staff, quiet dining, wonderful for a date. Plus, you get to eat with your hands. And of course, the food is gone except for some injera flatbread. Read more

We got there just before 7pm and it was almost packed. Service was good. Food took a while in coming because of how busy the... place was but it was worth it! It is a pretty small restaurant so may not be ideal for very large groups Read more

Friendly, helpful service. Comfortable dining. The food was great. It was very flavorful and prepared and served well. We got a... sampler plate….the lamb was our favorite. We had three small children with us, and they were quite accommodating to thechildren’s requests. We’ll be back. Read more

2nd time here. Hundredth time at an ethiopian restaurant. Street parking. Masks required indoor. Popular place, greeted by... friendly staff. Ordered messob combo exclusive for 2. Delicious and authentic. About 54 dollars. More variety but few dollarsmore than getting 2 combo platters. Ordered whole white trout fried fish for 18 dollars. Without veggie combo. Very crispy andsoft inside. Not salted but the is table salt and chili powder so good. Tej homemade honey wine delicious not strong in alcoholcontent i think. Large size is 25 dollars and comes in reused wine bottle 750ml. Bathrooms are clean. One toilet pergender. Staff were friendly and attentive though busy. Man who i assume was owner is funny and interacts with customers well. Iwish he'd adopt me so I could laugh and eat delicious food everyday. Read more
