I liked this place. Very upscale, trendy, and fun. They have everything you could want. Nice atmosphere, great drinks, vegan,... gluten free, or conventional food. There's also a hotel, and they offer Valet Parking. Thumbs up. Read more

Came for New Years Eve 5 course meal & was pretty good. Besides the facts the waitress took almost 10 minutes to even greet us &... the drinks were taking almost 20 minutes to arrive. Sent the risotto back for being way too bland and chose a salad instead, besides that the steak, wine, & bread bowl were great. Read more

Too tired to venture out to find food and ended up eating in the hotel restaurant. PHENOMENAL vegan options for such a small... menu. I wish I got our waitresses name because she was one of the best servers I’ve had. She remembered my dietary needs andmade sure my order came out of the kitchen correctly. A must eat while in DTLA. I was in town for work and wasn’t really on the move touring or looking for food far away as I needed to be local, so I... basically had almost everything this place had to offer on the menu. The Barbocoa was absolutely their best dish on the menu soa quick shout out for that dish. The burger was pleasantly good as well, the chicken sandwich pictured with coleslaw andchipotle sauce was delicious as well. I had truffle fries for both sandwiches but they had regular fries and sweet potato aswell for those in need of other options. The chicken empanadas were really good, so was the “Torta”. Didn’t really likethe arroz con pollo but you can hit them all can you? Haha. Enjoy your meal if you are staying in the hotel itself it’s beyondconvenient and open late with a wonderful looking bar. Wasn’t impressed. The food looked good but was overpriced and bland. Service staff kept forgetting things and didn’t seem... that interested in helping. Got sat at a table that wasn’t completely set and didn’t have all cutlery. Sat at the tablefor ages before even offered a drink. When I got a drink I got half a glass of wine and they said they would get me a full onenext for free but I got charged for it. Didn’t have everything on menu or wine list either so had to choose a few times toget something they had. Won’t be returning. Can spend less money for a better meal elsewhere Read more

Excellent contemporary cuisine. The Metropole Bar + Kitchen is located in the lobby of the Hotel Indigo in downtown Los Angeles.... The menu is available in the bar area as well as at tables, and both have a chic atmosphere. The breakfast menu had granolacrusted challah French toast, served with powdered sugar, berries, and maple syrup. Lunch and dinner menus have a cheese boardand a grilled cheese with fries (the grilled cheese had plenty of bits of crispy cheese that seeped onto the grill!). Servicewas prompt and friendly. A yum-worthy and pleasantly uncrowded brunch at this South Park eatery located off the lobby of the Hotel Indigo, this was a... good find on a lazy Sunday. I ordered the Breakfast Sandwich, but hope to return to try the Eggs Benedict on croissant. Walkingdistance from Metro’s 7th Street/Metro Center and Pico stations. Read more
