Sushi only. All the non sushi items are not avail. Read a totally misleading review in westways magazine before going here. The... three of us were the only ones in this place at 6pm on a wed. No great places to park. Street and sidewalk crowd rather scary sobe warned Read more

Pretty good sushi. Their Peruvian chef left recently so they don’t have their famous fusion entrees at the moment. If they... bring back the chef I’ll bump up a star. Read more

This place needs to hire more waiters. They take forever to take your order. Had to ask 3 different people and all they said was... that they'll be back to take our order and would just pass us by. Me and my friend only had 2 drinks but since we didn't getacknowledged after like an hour of telling them we were ready to order we just left the money on the table and left. Read more

I highly recommend Mikaza to anyone attempting to step out of their comfort zone. They have a large menu with a huge selection... of super yummy Japanese food. I was so impressed by the amount of flavor that was in every aspect of my meal. I also appreciatedhow the owner approached ups to ask how we enjoyed our meal. He was very welcoming explaining they were a well known restaurant.I let him know I’d be sure to tell everyone I know about my pleasant experience:) Read more

Great experience. The ceviches are phenomenal. I only wish they offered tortilla chips (sorry I'm Mexican ok! Don't judge me).... Staff was very helpful and attentive. The last samurai is a must try. Overall great experience. Read more

MiKaza is quite the experience. It’s located in the beautiful Spring Arcade Building and the food is just as impressive as the... building that houses the restaurant. MiKaza bills itself as the first Niekkei sushi restaurant in Los Angeles. Just what isNiekkei Sushi? Well it’s a marriage of 2 different cooking styles, Japanese and Peruvian. Each item on the menu soundsfamiliar but each has a Peruvian twist. You won’t need soy sauce or wasabi for you rolls or sushi, each item comes jammedpacked with flavors and any sauce or flavoring you’ll is right on the dish. I tried the surf & turf (shrimp tempura toppedwith wagyu beef), Parmesan scallops and the baked blue crab hand roll. They were all nicely excited and delicious. Check outtheir cocktails too. I had the Pisco 1-2 Punch and it was quite refreshing. It paired well with my meal. I was quite impressedwith MiKaza. Opening during COVID was gutsy...I hope it pays off. It definitely helps that MiKaza is backed by Pablito’s. Read more
