Customer service is pretty bad. The restaurant is pretty dirty. The dishes we ate off of were disgusting. The sushi tastes like... it was sitting out for hours premade. They also don?t have real sushi chefs looks like they just got anyone and taught them onthe spot. Management needs to reshape this place up before it gets shut down. Read more
I ordered through uber eats and they had a "deal" buy one roll and get second one free. Turns out they only give you one roll... and split it to make it seem like two. Over priced single roll. $18 for one low grade roll. Read more
0 stars. Only 1 star because ?required?. This place takes the cake for ?I don?t care at all.? Do people even actually work here?... Bet they?re on their phones the whole time. We ordered a large quantity order only to have half the items missing and theremaining items wrong. And they didn?t even bother to pack soy sauce, wasabi. Seriously? All I ordered was sushi. Been callingthis place over 10 times and not a single person will answer the phone. Really absolutely absurd. I never write negative reviewsit?s either 5 stars or I?m not writing one period but this place really takes the cake for I don?t care. Get the yellowtail and the tuna samplers, great deal! The yellowtail sampler is two yellowtail nigiri and a lightly blowtorched... piece. The tuna sampler is similar but with tuna. Skip the house specials that are baked. We're looking forward to returning andtrying the other nigiri ???? Read more

Fantastic sushi for the price point. Great for sushi fans that can't drop 100+ on omakase. Highly recommend the aburi trio, the... truffle hand rolls, and the dynamite mussels. Special mention for their green tea. Read more
I?m giving it 4 stars (instead of something even lower) because you get what you pay for. It?s cheap, mediocre, Ralph?s/whatever... random grocery store style sushi. Service is somewhat efficient. Overall it?s a meh. I don?t see why you would come to Sawtelle? an area with some of the best Japanese restaurants in the city ? and go to this place. It makes no sense to me.
