Wonderful atmosphere. Great tasting food and drinks with nice, friendly service. All steaks are dry aged and cooked to... perfection. The sides are very tasty. Especially liked the Potato Gratin, Long Beans, and Creamed Spinach. Loved the LiquidChocolate Cake and the Panacotta desserts. Read more
What can I say? Nick + Stef's was the best steakhouse experience I've ever had. There are a lot of chain steakhouses that serve... similar offering, but this restaurant knocks it out of the park. The vibe feels upscale but incredibly friendly. We had anreservations and were seated immediately. Our waiter was funny, friendly, and had good reservations. He asked us if we had planslater that night, and was able to get us in and out in a reasonable amount of time. The service was my favorite part of theexperience. Then comes the food. The bread was fantastic. Think Fogo's bread, but lighter crispier, and so much more indulgent.We started off with the Wagyu to split and it was perfectly cooked for an A5. With it, you're paying for the quality of meat andyou get it. The mains were next, we both got the dry aged Ribeyes, which were the best Ribeyes I've had. The quality of the dryaging is top tier and even when I was totally engorged and couldn't eat another bite, I went back for more. There was no wayeither of us was going to leave that restaurant with steak on the plate. Our sides were great too, we got the Mac and cheeseand the potatoes gratin and they were just as indulgent. I really recommend the Mac and cheese. Very happy to have spent mybirthday at Nick + Stef's, not sure if I'll come back SOON, but I will come back when there is something worth celebrating.Thanks to the staff and folks who totally made my birthday. This restaurant is one of the greatest. We started with a Caesar salad witch was one of the best I’ve had. The dry aged meat... is a must try if you love stake. I got the New York cooked medium rare and it was delicious and juicy. My wife had the filetmedium rare and was flavorful and worth the cost. We split some mac and cheese that was good but the Texture was a bitUnsatisfying. We ended our meal with a chocolate lava cookie topped with ice cream and was a perfect end to our experience. I want to give 5 stars for their steak!! We ordered their Dry-age New York 16oz - Medium rare. The meat was super moist and... juicy. The favor was traditional papper and salt but it was perfect for the beef. The only thing I took out 1 star because therewas a white tissue/tendon that I couldn't chew. We also ordered their shrimp and salmon. They were only in my opinion. Serviceis 5 stars. Servers were very nice that they moving the heat to keep our warm. Easily one of the best steakhouses in DTLA and neighboring areas. Set at the base just outside the Wells Fargo building (they... offer complimentary valet parking in the Wells Fargo parking structure with first 3 hours of parking free if after 5pm) it’sreally easy to find and quick to park and exit. The look inside is a sleek, almost modern, steakhouse with comfortable leatherseats and brighter lighting than other steakhouses. Our server Jonathan was very attentive and did a great job. They have a lotof great options menu wise and before our meal came out they brought out a couple cheddar popovers and they were a great startto the meal and didn’t last long. For my starter I chose the Iceberg Wedge Salad, a personal favorite of mine, and it was verynice and just what I hoped for. For my entree I chose the 10oz Grand Filet Mignon and it was cooked perfectly anddelicious. All around a great meal and would be a good call for any occasion. It doesn’t have a view like some othersteakhouses like LA Prime close by but the interiors and vibe inside almost make up for that. I will definitely be back andwould recommend to anyone. Read more
Nice upscale restaurant in Downtown Los Angeles. They have nice outdoor seating and patio area. The bar is small but cozy. They... have a huge win selection. The offer 40 day dry age cuts of meat. The sides are all good. The bread is very delicious. It's acheddar baked bread. The meat was well cooked, very flavorful and tender. The sides come in big portions so it can easy beenjoyed family style. The wait staff is very attentive and warm. It's a great place for a date night or to celebrate life. I can only speak to happy hour, the prices were great while the setting leans to the business crowd, and in fact some business... happy hours were occurring when we went. They have a great menu and happy hour is Monday through Friday, making it accessible.Depending on where you're located, however, there are more convenient options for a similar experience. Read more
