Nice but pricey food, and good service from Kevin. Good selection of various cold appetizers, hot food and sushi. Informed that... we were celebrating our graduation but sadly nothing was arranged for us. Read more

An incredible experience of delicious flavour packed into every mouthful. Our waitress (wish I knew her name to mention but she... had blue highlights in her hair) was so helpful and her recommendations were spot on. When in doubt ask her to offer what thepopular items are. I enjoyed how we started with cold dishes, through to warm, and finished with dessert. I'm not one to everchoose a carrot cake on the dessert menu, but again chosen based on our waitress' recommendation. This thing is truly special. The lobster and wagyu tacos were amazing, as was the miso black cod, which was a highlight for me. Well done to the staff andchef at Nobu. Read more

If you're coming for the expirence this place is a 5/5, there's a nice fancy atmosphere. There was a celebrity and nba dining... here which was pretty cool to see. As for the food had some strip loin, loads of sushi, waygu and lobster tacos; everything wasaverage. I expected way more when it came to the food it was a 3/5 at best. Read more

It was my first time at the famous Nobu. Had to make a reservation 2 weeks in advance for a weekday. Skip the $10 valet, there... was enough parking on the street. The dim lighting and wood panelling makes for a good ambience but noticed the table was frayedat one edge. For first timers there’s two ways to go - a $200 tasting menu (Omakase) or tell the well-trained waiter yourtastes and preferences and he’ll recommend a course of dishes. Our waiter was patient and serviced with a smile, which Ialways appreciate. There’s two lists - “classic” items which you’ll find at every Nobu and dishes tailored to the localecalled “now”. We had Nobu staples - the Yellowtail Jalapeño (6 thin slivers of fish in yuzu soy sauce and topped with aslice of jalapeño on top) which was tangy and buttery smooth with a moderate kick; the Miso Cod (great silky texture with asharp but sweet sauce); Salmon Yuzu Karashi Su Miso (which was six small slices of fish in a tart sauce); and the Golden EyeSnapper nigiri (which I learnt from a Vox interview with Nobu is his favourite). For dessert a bread pudding - bites of toastedbread with thyme with strawberries and milk. Spent an hour and a half there. The above won’t fill two of you but will leaveyou satisfied that you tried Nobu and cost you about $150. I‘m glad I went and enjoyed the food, but with the price point Idon’t think I’ll go back very frequently. Read more
