This place is super cute but I wasn't like wowed with the food. I came by after a coffee date nearby and was pleasantly greeted... and seated right away by a nice gentleman. They have a drink menu and a food menu. The drink menu was bigger than the food menu,which I found quite funny but didn't mind. We ordered a Tagliatelle Bolognese and a Bigoli Neri Alla Bottarga. Both were goodbut I've definitely had better. Though, I definitely wouldn't mind coming back! They give complimentary bread which is deliciouswith the butter! Came here for the first time on Saturday 2 days before Memorial Day and the service was immaculate. I can’t remember our... individual server’s name but he seemed to cover alot of the tables himself, along with a younger fella who expedited plates tothe tables. Super chill young man. Small place but there’s outdoor seating. Huge wine selection. Pretty sure the pasta washandmade, it tasted delicious and the spinach filling was way too good for being as simple as it was, amazing. Got the veal inanchovies/tuna sauce because It’s authentic as hell. Siciliano approved. First time having beef tartare as well but it wasgreat. Sets the bar high for my next experience. CUTE DINNER SPOT- among the hustle and bustle of LA it’s nice to have a place with good food and no fuss. We went here on a... double date. Very relaxed and nice atmosphere. The staff was super attentive and explained the menu to us and made a great winerecommendation. All plates were clean when we were done. Nice sized portions for the cost. I really enjoyed coming here. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The ambience was very relaxed. I was so happy to... see all the varieties of wine they had. It was good, they could improve quality of food since they claim to be authentic Italians. The wine selection is awesome. The... inside is nice, the wine walls make it fun and welcome. The terrace needs improvement, at least have some table clothes toupgrade the settings. The minute we got in we were welcomed in a nice Italian. I like it! The wine displays are fancy! Make theinterior look very inviting. We chose to seat onsite, I like fresh air. The terrace needs improvement to keep up with the insidedecor. The menu is nice, the wine menu superb! The crostini burrata were really good, the lobster pasta was ok, the soffiatadelicious. I wish we got another one to taste the difference. The bisteccona was low quality, and toward the cold temp, likethey re-served it to us. It was nothing like a real bistecca. It came with some baby potatoes that were almost burnt, super darkand dried with no flavor. We ordered a side of broccolini and we literally had 3 broccoli on the plate... The wine experiencewas better... great selection and the server was super helpful and patient. I am sure you'll find something for yourtaste. Nice service, great people, good vibes. Overall was good.
