Ramen flavor 5 star, but noodle is a bit too hard take a bit effort to chew. Otherwise could have been 5 stars. Staff is very... friendly, and I will come back for sure. Read more

They were famous for Nironki ramen, which is a style of ramen served with a lot of sprouts and cabbage. The chicken karaage was... delicious, and the braised pork was also pretty tasty. However, we weren?t big fans of the soup because the flavor was slightlybland, and we could only tasty soy sauce. Read more

Ramen Champ is added to my go-to list for Ramen, and I totally recommend everyone to try out Buta Max Ramen. It was a bomb! Very... flavorful broth, huge portion, and variety of toppings in it, it is just different level of creation that I have never tried itat any other place before. Raymond was very attentive and courteous to me and my colleague, and I will definitely come back soonand look forward to exploring different menu. Great Job! Ramen Champ Read more

The maze men had very good noodles, but was a bit too rich for me. Would probably be a good idea to get something acidic to cut... through the richness. I also made the mistake of putting all of the provided hot sauce in which made everything too salty. Nexttime I?ll do things a little differently. Read more

You order by scanning a QR code on the table with your phone, which is more convenient than needing to flag someone down to... order. I got the tonkotsu ramen and teriyaki chicken karaage. My friend got the miso ramen. As other reviews have mentioned, the noodles here are the thick kind, so they have a firmer consistency than the kind you can find at places like Ramen Nagi orHiro Nori. Teriyaki chicken karaage: 10/10! It was absolutely delicious, both sweet and salty with just the right amount ofcrunch and juicy chicken. They give you one lemon wedge for acidity and there's a dollop of Japanese mayo on the side fordipping. The chicken pieces are big, too. For me, this was the highlight of my meal. The tonkotsu ramen was decent. I couldn'tfinish the whole bowl because the noodles were so thick, but I did like the chewiness of them. The broth was perfectly salted, although a bit greasy. I ordered an egg with it, but sadly it didn't have any taste to it. The yolk was also slightly overcookedand didn't have the same jelly-like texture that I prefer. Overall not a bad place to go for a bite, although the wait time forfood can be a bit long. The table we sat at was a little dirty, but easy to fix by wiping with a napkin. Would I come back? Forthat chicken karaage, yes, but maybe I'll try a rice bowl next time. Read more

2nd time coming here, the first time me and my cousin got the ramen champ special, which I don't see anymore but it wasn't that... good and the unagi don, which was really good. Decided to give it a 2nd try since that was opening week and may have gottenbetter. This time me and my cousin got kakuni curry rice, tonkotsu ramen, and takoyaki. 1st off the ramen got better, the brothis much more flavorful than the previous time, and the noodles felt better but still not that great. I honestly did not like thepork as it tasted the same as vietnamese thit kho, which I love, but didn't felt right for me. Toppings were good. Ramen I wouldgive it a 3.8. The curry was kinda whatever, tasted the same as most other curry places and same as when I make it from thebox. Same issue with the pork in here as well. Curry I'd give it a 3, not bad, but nothing great. Ate the takoyaki before Itaken pictures, but it was fine aswell. Nothing amazing, but I think there wasn't much sauce on it which made it a little dry.Would have given it a 3.8, but lack of sauce brings it down to a 3.2 Overall may go back here for the tonkatsu ramen, and/or ifthey decided to give other options instead of the kakuni pork. I'll check again later this year. Read more

UPDATE: still DELICIOUS!! I've ordered here many times. I love that broth, eggs, and pork. Not a fan of the noodles (too thick... for me). But still a five stars! Definitely recommend. DELICIOUS!!! The broth was rich and creamy FULL of flavor!! It felt likeI was eating in Japan!! The meat was tender and had flavor not bland. The noodles were on the thick side for me but it did nottake away from the deliciousness!! It instead it added a heartyness to the meal. Oh and the packaging for take out wasimpressive: a nice big bowl with my broth in another separate container and it came with a soup soon that you rarely see in takeout. The menu is simple but it works because they concentrate on perfecting the dishes. Sighhhhh! I'm gonna miss them since I'mnot from San Jose ???? Read more
