I assume that I choose this restaurant to celebrate my bday not for the food but for their interior design. However, I was... surprised in a very good way ! The food tastes so good, like an explosion of flavors very balanced. Hands down as one of thebest restaurants in LA. It is pricey for my pockets but worth it. The interior is also amazing! Everything very thought out withdifferent sitting and atmosphere. The only things I would say is that I was expecting more details for the lighting design. But,overall, beautiful!!! Read more

An excellent New American meal in an excellent downtown L.A. venue. Very creative fare served in a building with a lot of... history. The dishes were inventive and delicious. And at the very least interesting. Redbird is really defining what NewAmerican cuisine is and can be. All served in a redone rectory which served as a home for a cardinal. Where the name Redbirdcomes from. The interior had a real upscale atmosphere but still felt welcoming and cozy. All in all I had a great L.A. foodexperience. This is a foodies dream restaurant and a must visit when your in Los Angeles. Dos thumbs up ???????? Read more

Redbird is set in an absolutely stunning location downtown which boasts an amazing indoor and outdoor dining spaces. The vibe... is definitely upwardly mobile with a cool crowd assembling for breakfast/brunch/lunch/and dinner! Amazing food and drinkselection with really knowledgable staff. We had the breakfast club which was totally delicious. Highly recommended! Read more

One of the best meals I've had this year. The parker rolls were some of the best bread and butter I've ever eaten. Thoughtful,... modern and delicious across all the courses. Fantastic Read more

Cute, fun vibes and a wonderful open space with heat lamps so you won’t be too cold at night. There’s private dining rooms... upstairs and a garden that’s also delightful. Meal was a mix of big hits and misses, with the hits ultimately winning out. Weloved the complimentary cheese bread, Parker rolls, rigatoni pesto pasta, and scallops. I appreciated the fact that both mainentrees did not feel too heavy on the palate. The sauce accompanying the scallops was fantastic! Big misses were the shishitosand crudo. Shishitos tasted as if they were drenched in fish sauce, while the crudo was bland, mediocre sashimi. Avoid. Misocheesecake was an interesting concept and reminded me of a salted caramel panna cotta. I didn’t agree with the Granny Smithsorbet pairing but nonetheless it was unique. $5 parking garage (safe and well-lit) once you drive past Redbird and turn rightonto Los Angeles. Read more

Just celebrated a birthday at Redbird! It was quite wonderful… The food was exquisite that went wonderfully with the excellent... customer service experience. The setting was at the old and spirited Vibiana 1876 DLA. Chef Frazer stopped by and it was nice tochat with him. We use to patron his former restaurant Grace. I would love to return and take a tour of the building. When notbusy. They will give a tour. Read more

The food is quite creative and tasted good for the most part. I've never had pasta with grapes before or a pumpkin creme brulee... for example... But it almost all works. The decor and service was very nice too. Read more
