Reviews for Restaurant at The Getty Center in Los Angeles, CA
Thoughtfully designed dishes, with flavorful, surprising, unusual sauces and artistic presentation, perfectly suited for art... museum. Loved the charred octopus with chorizo and the pair of smoked scallops, each served with a different sauce and flavorprofile. Outdoor patio has great view, wide spacing that serves for quiet and pandemic safety. Servers were attentive andkind. Pricey, but perfect for a special occasion. Read more
After an afternoon enjoying The Getty's exhibits, this was a perfect, relaxing end to the day. The food was delicious and... beautifully presented and the atmosphere was first class. Prices are on the higher side, but we had already planned to treatourselves and we definitely felt the experience was worth what we paid. The restaurant seemed to have a good cross-section ofdiners, offering a good ambience for a date, a gathering of friends, or families. Read more

Service was top notch, the food was perfectly prepared with fresh ingredients and the view on the patio is spectacular. I... ordered the Pastrami hash with a Manhattan and my wife ordered eggs Benedict with a mushroom soup. Everything was delicious, butbe sure you love mushrooms if you order the soup, because that is exactly what it is! Desert was delicious as well. Read more
What a delight to be able to have a Valentine's weekend brunch here with my daughter. It's a tradition for us to celebrate this... holiday together and I'm glad they are finally open again. The Getty Center has always been a favorite place to come and justbe. Outdoor dining options are a definite must during this pandemic and how wonderful to add this as an option for anytime in LA(with reservation of course). I wish I had taken a photo of the menu because everything is seasonal. I don't remember thedetails of everything we had but the quality and service are definitely worth recommending. The petit fours with my cappuccinowere a delightful ending to a lovely time. Read more
The food is very good! It is a bit expensive, but definitely worth the price. I was a bit disappointed at first because I was... told that they only have a brunch menu on Sunday, but then soon discovered that their brunch is really good as well. The tunatartar is a must try. Read more
Had a nice lunch. Beautiful room. Staff were good. Pretty good food. Table mate was excited about a certain sorbet for dessert.... After a long wait the flavor was changed without mention. Read more
Just a beautiful, elegant place with great food and spectacular views. The menu changes frequently, and there is always... something new. I don't know who the chef is, but the food is some of the best I have had in LA. You can sit inside oroutside, but there are huge windows and the view is one of the best in all of LA. You have to check it out even if you do notgo into the museum - but at least check out the gardens. Read more
