First experience with Russian cuisine so I might not have the most accurate perspective but I liked this restaurant. The food... tasted very good (I had the borscht and beef stroganoff - the sauce in the latter was a little dry but the meat was tender andtasty). The rest of my group chose the Mediterranean dishes (beef and chicken lula kebab and the lamb chops) and they loved them(I tasted some of it and thought it was even better than the traditional Persian restaurants). The gelato desserts were verygood as well. It is a family restaurant with very friendly service. Price is very reasonable for the good quality of the food. Iwould definitely come back. Ordered Oliver salad a few times here .. but it?s always looking different. I threw it away .. it looked like someone chewed it... before putting in a container. It?s supposed to be cut in cubes ? I cuenta see any cubes it?s just a mush .. I went there onlyone time but as far as I remember it didn?t look like this before. Robert himself seated us and took great care of our meal. The restaurant space may be smaller than expected, but it?s decorated... beautifully with linen tablecloths and chair covers. Every dish was delicious, with hearty servings for leftovers to take home. Service was wonderful, and we cannot wait to go back. Read more
I love to stumble upon new restaurants. And this is one of the reasons. I had no ideal what I was getting into. But the... restaurant was full which is always a good sign. And when everyone is speaking a foreign language that is an added bonus. I onlyhad time for a salad and beer but the menu looks very good and I have to return to try a full dinner because my crab salad andArmenian beer was superb. Superior cuisine! The food was phenomenal and inexpensive for its quality. The atmosphere and service were good. The borscht was... delicious and reminded me of my grandmothers borscht recipe she brought from Poland. Their chicken is excellent and their kaboboutdoes even the beat Persian/Mediterranean restaurants. Highly recommend this place!! Read more
This restaurant is not one of my favorites when it comes to Russian Cuisine. The flavors are a little bit lacking. They are... dishes are authentic but I prefer different restaurants for Russian ethnic food. I just feel like the ingredients used aresubpar. Also the actual restaurant is a little outdated and could use a facelift. Overall if you?re trying to experience Russiancuisine, this would be a so-so place to try to get an idea but I wouldn?t recommend it if you were only giving Russian food andonly chance. Read more
