It?s a good local pizza joint. They have quite an extensive menu of pizzas and pastas. The appetizers are delicious. Go for... the mozzarella wedges or the Italian fries. I would recommend a loaf of Italian bread. It?s ever so fresh and tasty. Thepizza crust isn?t too light, but it isn?t dense at all. It holds together well and the cheese stays on the sauce and doughquite well. The extra thin crust pizza sis a bit floppy, but tastes good. They have good deals on Tuesdays and Thursdays on an18? pizza. Read more

New Yorkers...this is as close as it gets in California. Delicious, good gravy, cheese, and my to go slice...pepperoni. Right... down the street from LA Brea Tar Pit on Wilshire next to McDonald's. Friendly, fast service, busy atmosphere, and great Za! Still my favorites are Nick's white pizza in Whiteplains and Carlo's Pizzeria's plain cheese in Yonkers next to Roosevelt HighSchool in New York...it's what you grow up with that sets the bar. East coast must try! Read more

This place reminds me of my childhood,Friday night pizza with my siblings! Featuring a brick wall, checkered table mats,... blackboard walls with stylish writing on it (the menu) a semi open kitchen, (90?s style) soda fountain and even an old skool(sit down) 80?s arcade game! As for the pizza itself: they do pizza by the slice here which I appreciate. Heavy cheese that?sdistributed more from the center and less near the crust. I like the pizza here a lot I only mention criticism for aficionados.Somewhat typical ?New York style? I see around la but less big and less thin. I can tell they use very good ingredients. Theydon?t seem to be trying to do anything radically new or different but that?s kind of what you would want from a place likethis. The staff was really polite and seemed friendly. The price point is very good. (For the area especially) $3.00 piece ofcheese, not absurdly big but big enough to feel I got my money?s worth. If the slice was bigger I would make it a point to comeback again and again. For now I would pick Roccos over most other places in the area. I like the 90?s ninja turtle vibe, theprice is good, the quality of pizza is rather good. It has a homey feel to it. Definitely a solid place to have a work meetingat. Definitely business meeting and also sports bar vibe. Read more
