Roscoe?s house of chicken 'n waffles is a west coast soul food staple. I come here at least once per trip. Get the Obama special... for breakfast. Their grits and coffee are also great. (Make sure u request syrup and condiments) If you go for dinner get thechicken greens, cornbread and candied yams. The breakfast potatoes smothered in gravy is amazing make sure u try those! Visited 2 Sundays ago. Food is still great. I don?t recall the waffles being so tasty. Service was slow & our waitress rarely... checked in. They were pretty busy but they sat us immediately. I tried a side of chili and it was okay. Still a place to getgood soul food. I recommend. Read more

This was by far one of the best combination of my favorite foods! Waffle and chicken !! Yes please ! Loved the authenticity of... the place and the decoration too. Loved the paintings. At first I wanted to go for the Obama special ( yes, the former presidentdined here) but then I saw their classic option and it seemed even better ! ( three pieces of tender chicken and waffle servedwith butter and maple syrup). Friendly staff too Read more

There are a few Roscoe's, this one on Pico Blvd. in Mid City Los Angeles is our favorite. We eat there whenever we are near and... each and every time it is great. It can get crowded on weekends for dinner hour, so we try to go early or after 8 pm. Parkingis great in their free lot. The security they have there is super. It is an older Roscoe's and the inside sort of shows it, butthey keep it so very clean and it just reminds me of home--we have been going their for years and the wait staff and cooks are snice. Whatever you order will be great. It is all made to order and it is served hot and the way you ordered it. Some of thestaff have worked there a long time. The cashier is also a joy to be near, so friendly and kind. We love everything there andhave had the entire menu. Our favorite is their fried chicken and waffles. They also have the best mac and cheese in town aswell as biscuits in gravy, greens and yummy corn bread. Their prices are reasonable and you are never rushed. You will becomfortable here and you will leave full. Go there. Read more

What a great experience! The staff was outstanding, the food came fast hot and delicious. So glad we came late night as it is... a small location and I can just imagine it is packed during regular hours! Careful though as they say open till midnight butthe last like 1.25 hours are carry out or delivery only. Read more

Finally made it to the famous Roscoes Chicken and Waffles in LA. I waited so long to go to this restaurant. I have heard so much... about it from friends and television of course. Let me first say I loved it! We drove by another location, but they wereshooting a movie so we couldn?t go inside. I was like put me in as an extra. Lol. So we drove to the original location on Pico. The kids and I enjoyed chicken and waffles. My husband had greens and chicken. We loved the cornbread. The food was good to me,my husband and the boys. My daughter wasn?t a fan. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the waffles was sweet, just like Ilike it. I will say it?s not for everyone, but it?s worth the experience. I had to be fair and give 4 stars because my daughterfelt they gave way too much butter and syrup which made the waffle soggy. She likes her waffles crunchy. So if that?s you thenmake sure you specify your preference. Read more

Visited on my recent trip to LA from Phoenix. My party and I had such a great meal. The atmosphere is chill and makes you feel... right at home. I had the Thigh and Waffle and Mac and Cheese and another favorite (not listed on the menu) is the Chicken ChiliCheese Fries. Soooo tasty! Roscoe's never misses! Also, I have to say the music that was playing inside and outside of therestaurant was nostalgic, and just made the experience so much more memorable. Thank you! Read more

Roscoe?s on Pico is a tasty and reliable option that I would, and do recommend to anyone who likes waffles or fried chicken. I... recently drove up for lunch from Orange County on two occasions. I ordered a piece of chicken, several waffles, and a ?Sunrise?(1/2 OJ, 1/2 Lemonade). The food was perfectly cooked and delicious. It tasted consistent as ever. The service was friendly andwelcoming from every employee I interacted with inside and outside the building. I have regularly experienced this level ofservice here. I grew up near this location and came with my Dad and brother many times when I was younger. I hope thedecorations and lighting in the building never change because of how much it reminds of of my pops and the family time we sharedthere. Thank you Roscoe?s team members for taking care of this incredible restaurant over the years. Read more
