Absolutely one of our most favorite places to eat in DTLA and just in general. We went there for the first time last week and... we’ve been back since! The sushi is the most delicious! Their appetizers, drinks, service and VIBE ambiance will NOTdisappoint. Make sure to have the Japanese Croquette. YUM! Don’t take my word for it…try it for yourself! ???? Read more

The staff here is really amazing. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. I also think it’s a nice touch when all of the... staff acknowledge when someone enters a leave with a loud greeting and/or thank you! On Sunday afternoon, it wasn’t toocrowded, and the atmosphere was quiet and sophisticated. The only reason didn’t give 5 stars are the following minorannoyances: - Two of our plates were dirty (in the photo I look annoyed, because I’m inspecting the dirty plate). Our waiterimmediately fixed this and seemed genuinely embarrassed. - It’s on the pricey side, but this side of downtown tends to be. Sushi in Little Tokyo will cost you a little less, but I’m sure the building lease is less expensive there as well. - The signoutside said “Saturday and Sunday lunch special”. It was about 12:45, and I inquired about the special. I was told itstarts at 3:00…. Not a big deal but seems like an odd time to start a lunch special. All in all, it’s close to home, thefood and service was great, and I’m sure we’ll be back again, next time for dinner. Read more

This place was amazing! The shishito peppers and edamame with the spicy garlic seasonings hit the spot! We also had a variety... of rolls, the crunch was great, rainbow, spider, candy cane, and I can't remember the last one but all of then were great! ..safe to say we ordered way too much food but it was all delicious. It was a bit expensive but it was expected since it's in losangeles and the area is surrounded by fine dining. Our tab came out to about $180 (not including tip) for 2 appetizers and 6rolls and 4 drinks. So not too bad for LA. If it's within your means definitely stop by! Read more

Such a sweet staff so warm and welcoming. The menu has staples but offers the item cook, seared, or raw. We tried the garlic... roll and the rainbow roll. They were equally appetizing. For a late Tuesday evening meal, just off of the main drag of downtown, you want to one here. Parking was no problem. Read more

Food was delicious. Atmosphere was great and staff was especially friendly. Thank you so much to the chef who made my little one... her own little roll. It was the cutest thing ever and my baby ate it up so quick! Read more

Omg that yellow tail broiled collar was huge and cooked perfectly. Sitting in their large outdoor area you feel secluded and... comfortable. Service was attentive, fast, and so nice. We also had one of their special platters that hit the spot. I've beencoming here for about two years now and I've never had anything but the best food, service and time. Always the same highlevels on all counts. Read more

Reserved a table for 2 we got in 15 minutes prior to our reservation. The gentleman at the front host desk, he was wearing a... chefs coat…should not greet guests, not the warmest welcome. Our server Inggee (spelled incorrectly I’m sure) She wassweet, welcoming, and knows the menu upside down and inside out…She took our order for a start which was the Jalapeño Tempurawith tuna. We were both not a fan, I mean the flavors just didn’t not mesh well. But we didn’t taste our starter until theend of the meal. Our order was never served, our server thought it arrived and we ate and were waiting on a second roll/dish.Customers who sat after us were getting their food and we did not have a single bite. Our server finally realized our foodhadn’t arrived. But when they did, it was all together…we did not have any time to enjoy them individually, even our starter the Jalapeño Tempura arrived as the last plate. I understand mistakes happen, but there was nothing done or said about themistake that obviously the kitchen had made. The question is will we return?! I always will give a place another chance and ifit repeats itself sayonara forever. Read more
