Always the best onigiri! Ordered to-go which I?ve never done before at any of the locations but the food was just as good as it... was fresh! Super convenient that they package the seaweed separate from the rice ball which prevented it from getting sticky andsoggy, and also let me choose how much I wanted to use. Will be back next time i?m in LA! Read more

Gave this place 3 chances and every time I walked in they were making people's food with no gloves on. You should always wear... gloves when in food service, especially with covid, monkey pox, and other things going around. I literally had to ask forsomeone to make my food with gloves. 1 person put gloves on to add the fillings to my rice that the other person had alreadylaid out while not wearing gloves. It was decent the first time I visited, however this time it wasn't good and fell apart assoon as I unwrapped it. I won't be patronizing this establishment again. I'll stick to Gam Tu Bop where the food is cheaper, tastes better, and where gloves are worn without you having to ask. Read more

I enjoy eating Sunny Blue at Washington Blvd. which is good and delicious. I enjoy eating the Miso Beef, Sunny Blue Curry, Tokyo... Tori, Spicy Salmon, and Hijiki Omusubi. They have many good and different kinds of Omusubi. If you order the Omusubi to Go theywill cover the Omusubi like in the Japanese Market and they will put a sticker on the one you order. And it is next to therestaurant that I recently went called Humble Potato. So this is a good place for Lunch or a nice Snack. Read more

Used to love this place. Came here the day they opened and have raved about this place, but they've really gone downhill. The... food is still ok, but not nearly as good as it used to be. Employees don't even know what the ingredients are (don't know whatkatsuo is, even though it's on the menu), they don't have lids (and don't tell you until after you've paid for the drink). Theyhave a sign saying 5 customers allowed inside, but even when I was the only 1 inside, they made me wait outside in the sun sothe drink I ordered was watered down with melted ice before I even left the store. When I complained and suggested to themanager that they put up a sign so people know ahead of time they will have to wait outside, she said they can't because thesign will get "deleted" by customers, whatever that means. When I asked for change for $1 to add money to the parking meter, they refused. I ended having to borrow 20¢ from their tip jar and then paying it back with my card. So stupid. They only havemetered parking but won't give change? They used to. Not anymore. The rice balls USED to be filling, but now they skimp on riceand toppings so the rice ball doesn't even stay together. It falls apart because it's so loose when you unwrap it. Today was thelast time I'm coming here. Their food and service used to be amazing. Now it's meh at best. Really disappointing. It's sadbecause there are so many reviews like mine, complaining about the declining food and service but the manager said she is awareof them and she doesn't care. Read more

This place was delicious!! I am definitely going back! I absolutely loved the offerings here. The menu was a bit confusing and... had a hard time understanding what to get since this was my first time... I also thought the portion sizes were a little small.Came out to be $20 for a Lunch bento box without a drink. Overall though, extremely fresh and delicious! Will be going back forsure. Read more

Sunny Blue offers these delicious little rice sandwiches that are perfect for on the go or a healthy alternative to fast food. ... They come with different meat, fish, veggie or mushrooms in the center and are as addictive as some controlled substances. Myadvice is to get a variety and try a few...and their miso soup is tasty as well! Always friendly and fast service...love thisplace! Read more
