It’s pretty good. Tasty, high quality tacos. Minus a star because they’re not AMAZING, like some of the street tacos you... find in LA, and the value for what you get really sucks. After tax it’s like $5 for a little taco with melted cheese. Samething at a street vendor would be $2 at most. Read more

Basura! These tacos were absolute trash. Over priced.. left very unsatisfied. Only giving 2 stars because the limonade taste... homemade and the kids seating area was adorable. Was very underwhelming, got asada tacos and quesadilla the meat wasn’t tastyat all. I’ll be sticking to El Zarape. They can’t compete Read more

The place seemed quite popular as there was a line for the entrance when we came. It was my first experience with Mexican food... and I was a little worried that I may not find vegetarian options, but I was wrong! Mushroom tacos were amazing ???? There'salso a big selection of sauces you may add on your taco ???? Read more

Visiting my family in California, I knew that visiting Tacos 1986 was a must especially after watching a few videos on YouTube a... while ago. My wife and I tried all of their Tacos and we enjoyed them all. There was even a secret menu Taco which had cheeseand beans and it was also amazing. The restaurant was clean, the environment was nice, the food was good, and the staff werevery friendly and hospitable knowing that my family and I were not locals. Tacos 1986, please open up a location in Toronto!Lots of love for your food coming from Canada. If anyone reading this is in the area or near their other locations, please trytheir tacos. Read more

Love this neighborhood spot. Everything is so good. Off menu flour tortillas are available, just not as vampiros. Pictured is... carne asada quesadilla on flour. Read more

Good food, but nothing special. A solid 7 out of 10. On the plus side, they are liberal with the avocado/guacamole, and... probably one of the more authentic brick & mortar restaurants in L.A. On the minus side, the food is cooked down a bit much &pricey if you're buying for 3-4 people. I would recommend this restaurant, if you are in the neighborhood wanting a couple ofmushroom or pork tacos for lunch. Otherwise, I would just stick with the taco trucks (for authenticity) or Lucy's (for flavor &price). Read more

friendly and incredibly fast service. tacos were tasty — tortilla was amazing — but the mushroom was a bit salty.
