This was my first-ever visit to The Counter. A friend had invited us to go with him after we helped him move some boxes, so we... all had worked up an appetite. I was happy to see that they had Topo Chico sparkling water from Mexico available on thebeverage menu, one of my favorite sparkling waters. We had ordered the Fifty Fifty combo bowl of Sweet Potato & ShoestringFrench Fries for the table. We were off to a good start. I ordered the Grilled Mahi Mahi Salad. All of the greens looked andtasted very fresh...the Mahi Mahi was grilled perfectly, and still had some life left in it...that is, not dry and overcooked. Our partner ordered the Kale Salad... noteworthy were the tender baby kale greens that they employed for the dish. It lookedvery tasty as well. The portions were a perfect size for hungry-ish adults. The service was lovely and gracious...Thanks forthe hospitality! Read more
