BEST BREAKFAST SPOT! HUGE PORTIONS! You NEED to visit here on a empty stomach! We both ended up taking left overs back to our... hotel as it was too good to leave! Known for their French Toast- would recommend sharing if there is a 2 of you. Highlyrecommend the French Press coffee, 1 pot is enough for 4 people easily! WIFI- YES RESTROOM- YES Read more

The food was okay at best, nothing special, definetly not worth the price. The pancakes are big enough to feed an entire family,... it was overwhelming and I really wish the waiter could've warned us. Also, if they're going to have such oversized pancakes, they should at least have plates big enough for them. Read more

I had never eaten such a large pancake in my life. I went to this place because I saw the reviews and was amazed. Pancakes... were very good but it was very difficult for me to eat them all. Eggs were also good. This place is not cheap. Read more

BLUESberry pancakes - 5 ????! Side of over medium eggs - 5 ????! If you have never been to Griddle Cafe before, be forewarned... they serve the largest stack of pancakes I have ever seen in Los Angeles, and honestly, anywhere I've been. This definitely apositive though. I went for blueberry pancakes which are packed with, fresh juicy blueberries and topped with a sweet, blueberry sour cream topping. I added some maple syrup because I'm Canadian and I sort of have to have maple syrup. I added aside of perfectly cooked over medium eggs to add some savory balance to my meal. I only managed to finish one and one third ofthe three pancakes and that left me very satisfied and slightly stuffed. The people next to me shared their pancake stack whichis probably the way to go. I knew what I was getting into because I've been here before so no regrets at all. Read more

Great pancakes! They are huge. Large servings and good breakfast. The do their mimosa at $25 carafe. I wish they just sent the... bottle of champagne along with different glasses of juices. I'm still trying to get that Granite City vine for mimosas. You willenjoy the view and food. Read more

This was my family's 1st visit here & we loved it. The atmosphere is really nice & so are the views! The wait time wasn't... unbearable, we were busy taking pictures near the coi fish ponds and chatting to make the time go by. Food was plentiful & veryflavorful! I wish I'd gotten pics of the all the dishes my family had ordered. And those pancakes, omg! We saw people with 3huge stacks bigger than the plates themselves! We had two kids with us who would never finish so much, but the restaurantdefinitely offers 1, 2, or 3 pancake stacks. It looked like they didn't give that memo to the other parties as they left 80% oftheir pancakes on the tables for trash, so I'm glad we asked. But I must say, our visit was really nice! Service & staff weregreat! Read more

Wonderful views, 10/10 decor and great food! This cafe has arguably the best location of any restaurant in LA. You probably will... have to wait 2 hours+ but it is worth it. Make sure to get the pancakes because the portions are huge. The staff are lovely too.I strongly recommend this place for brunch! Read more

Went here twice in one weekend while visiting Hollywood and universal studios. The only thing better than the patio view was the... food! You need to either pay the $10 to valet your car, or hike up the hill if you can find somewhere to park at the bottom.Iwould recommend the tequila sunrise breakfast. So good I had it both times! If you go on the weekend expect to wait an hourunless you show up very early. While waiting you can sit at any of the tables from yashimuro sushi (it's in the same location). The garden is fun to check out, and there is a walk up bar near the garden. Don't forget to say hi to Buddha and put a coin onhis belly! Read more
