I?ve been to this place now two times, and was treated once which would be three times experience. The first time around a... client of mine brought me their refreshing strawberry Basil drink, and let me tell you. That has been great all three times Ihad it. The plantain chips were too chewy though. Second time I went by myself to the actual place and my order was messed upand the food?well let?s say theirs barely. Anyways, tonight I went again and with my daughter and the order was completedcorrectly, but I must say for modern it?s lacking allot of flavors. It?s clean tasting and fresh which I?m sure that?s whattheir going for; however I must say my pallet is extremely keen and I believe the food is absent in flavors. Fresh Yes. This place is one of my absolute favorites in Hollywood! The happy hour on Tuesdays is amazing. $5 margaritas. They are so fresh... and delicious. The tacos are absolutely to die for! I enjoyed my visit to Tocaya. I ordered the bowl which had the chicken tinga along with some black beans and onions. Overall,... the bowl was good although there was too much onion for my taste. Service was prompt. The strawberry basil drink wasrefreshing. Read more
Taco Tuesday. Every taco is $2 unless with recommended protein. Love this place and the service is prompt and friendly. Tacos... are excellent and fresh. Actually, everything is fresh. It is Mexican food, but with American modern decor that is bright, cleanand comfy for gathering or formal meal. Love this place and look forward to next Tuesday evening. Read more

Had been wanting to try this place for months and I?m so glad I finally went because it exceeded my expectations! The food and... drinks (including a ?virgin? option for the margaritas!) were superb, and so were the staff. But what I really liked was thewide open dining area with big windows, calming tones, and a great soundtrack. Plus they offer two types of water to drink onthe house?a classy touch. Delicious fresh organic food and really friendly staff. Started coming here every week and I can genuinely say I love everything... on the menu. Even the drinks are good! The plantain chips are fantastic with the guacamole. Love the fajita del rey bowl also.The decor is really nice and although it?s fast it feels like a higher end restaurant! Recommended! Read more
