yuzu soju tastes much better than matcha beer. Among all skewers, heart stands out. Sauces made skewers taste better though they... are not free. Some skewers are burnt like wings but overall all skewers are good. Read more

The wait is always quite long. I don't think I've waited less than 20 min to eat here and, once over an hour to give up. But... do I love it? Not sure that I love the food but I've only tried their sets. There was no flavor? Service is solid. Just beprepared to wait! Read more

It has probably one of the best skewers in the town. One downside is that this place easily gets too busy, and the quality of... service goes down noticeably. Please avoid crowding hours to ensure you are taken proper care. Read more

Can’t really go wrong with skewers. If you love skewers and are an adventurous eater... - they have the 5 skewer or 10 skewer... combo - really good heart, cartilage, breast, thigh, wings are good and crispy -tako wasabi: really good to munch on and to getyour appetite started - Jun bowl - liver and heart bowl, so, so damn good - oyako bowl - so good so goood!! Chicken and eggbowl, this goes down fast - zousui - is so good when you’re not feeling great or on a cold day out! Chicken porridge! Read more

Great food and experience at Torigoya. Be there just at their opening their business at 6 was kinda important if you didn’t... make reservation - tables can fill up really quick. Ordered their 10 combo and the chef cooked them beautifully. Genuineexperience, although it could be little bit pricey but definitely worth it. Don’t forget to put some of their homemadeseasonings on it if you feel a bit light seasoned. Read more

This would be the worst dining experience in my life so far. We came here on a Friday night and has brought a bottle of Japanese... whiskey and a bottle of champagne to celebrate my birthday. My gf was VIP/Black Plate customer back in 'Tomo San's' time. Thewaiter has advised us to hide the bottles of wine under the table but did NOT instruct us that we could not drink it. We enjoyedand also took pictures of our food and drinks until what happened by the end of the night. Morita San, the executive chef of therestaurant, has come over to our table, screaming and yelling at my VIP friend unexpectedly. They have known each other since'Tomo San's' time. My friend still tried to talk to Morita San and calm him down politely, however, he kept harassing hernon-stop. None of us were in restaurant industry, thus we have no idea that whiskey cannot be drunk here. We would not have doneso if we were advised. Morita San continue to act violently and has escalated from verbally to physically. Both my VIP friendand I have been pushed hardly onto the floor from our seats. Furthermore, we were handed a check with $100 corkage fee for thatbottle of whiskey. We have requested Morita San to call the police, however, he refused to. Thus, we have contacted our attorneyimmediately. By the time when our attorney called the restaurant, Morita San has ordered us to leave the restaurant. The servicewe received has been beyond terrible. Speechless!! Without checking with his staff prior, Morita San has blamed us on notfollowing the rules. This is more than unfair. Obviously, this restaurant has no management skill at all. Don't think blamingand pushing is tolerable for any kind of services provided in this world. Would never EVER come back. Read more

Hosted 2 customers here, the food was not great, they didn't eat most of it. You are also forced to order 5 skewers per person.... Bland and tasteless. An expensive meal that nobody enjoyed. Read more
