The burger was really good. The wheat bun overpowered the blackbean andmushroom patty a bite, but overall I was impressed. The lentil soup had great flavor and spice. I love small local places thatfocus on a vegetarian menu. The Veggie Grill did not disappoint. Located... near perishing square garden and in a happening DTLA neighborhood, you are greeted by a welcoming staff. We tried their classicand house veggie burger with sweet potato fries and chickpea greek salad. The greek chickpea salad came as a surprise with itstangy flavor. The positive. The food was very delicious. The food filled me up. I was completely satisfied with the flavor and the quantity of... the food. FYI, I am not a vegan I am not a vegetarian. I owed a friend a meal and he is a vegan so I bought him meal and decidedto try it myself because why not. The negative. Vegan food is too expensive. Really for a lemonade soda $4.75. What's wrong withCoca-Cola last time I checked it does not contain any animal products. Besides that, I cannot let it go and I cannot ignore howexpensive and how vegan food is so overpriced. It's like Scientology, the more you pay the more God loves you. And with beingvegan, The more pure the food is the healthier it is. As a carnivore, I eat both vegetables and meat.
