I am in LA for business and stumbled onto the Veggie Grill. It was a great decision to stop in for lunch and I will be back! I... tried the house blackbean burger and lentil soup. The burger was really good. The wheat bun overpowered the blackbean andmushroom patty a bite, but overall I was impressed. The lentil soup had great flavor and spice. I love small local places thatfocus on a vegetarian menu. The Veggie Grill did not disappoint. If you are looking for a restaurant that caters to vegetarianand vegan food, you need to try the Veggie Grill. Read more
As a vegetarian from Riverside, it was refreshing to find a place With a unique menu that was 100% plant based. I got the Reuben... with Lentil soup 9/10 for both. My fiance got the Catalina Salad which was delicious and she also got the 7 Layer Bowl which wascool. Nice spot. Staff was nice! We will be back! Read more
Being an Indian vegetarian who is looking for options outside some fixed food chains, veggie grill came as a surprise. Located... near perishing square garden and in a happening DTLA neighborhood, you are greeted by a welcoming staff. We tried their classicand house veggie burger with sweet potato fries and chickpea greek salad. The greek chickpea salad came as a surprise with itstangy flavor. Opens at 11am , there's no parking I had to pay 10.00 for parking . Fairly good size , clean , next to other eating places. Food... came fast , staff was friendly , and also disinfected everything as I was there chairs , tables etc. Read more
Veggie grill is one of my favorite places to eat in Los Angeles. They never let me down. I ordered very late for pick up but... they accommodated me and had the order hot and ready when we got there. The cashier was a super friendly guy who joked andassisted us in such a fun and friendly manner. I am vegan so of course this place had so much to choose from. I went withsomething new, the diablo quesadilla burger. It was such a new fun way to have a beyond burger. It is a cheese (vegan)quesadilla wrapped around a beyond burger with jalapenos, romaine lettuce, pisco add gallon and some special sauce on the side.When I tell you this was tasty... it had a lil kick to it from the jalapenos and it hit just right! Not too much heat, but justenough. I also had a side of fries, nothing is better than hot fries on the side lol. For my dessert, I went with carrot cake.The fact that they perfected vegan carrot cake is worth every penny I spent. It was moist and delicious. Last but not least, Isee they still arent doing the self serve drinks. I used to have a matcha horchata drink but havent seen that in a while. Amazing food! I?ve been craving a good veggie meal since coming to the States, and this did everything I hoped it would. I went... for the Beyond Meat burger and a side of broccoli and there was so much flavour. The positive. The food was very delicious. The food filled me up. I was completely satisfied with the flavor and the quantity of... the food. FYI, I am not a vegan I am not a vegetarian. I owed a friend a meal and he is a vegan so I bought him meal and decidedto try it myself because why not. The negative. Vegan food is too expensive. Really for a lemonade soda $4.75. What's wrong withCoca-Cola last time I checked it does not contain any animal products. Besides that, I cannot let it go and I cannot ignore howexpensive and how vegan food is so overpriced. It's like Scientology, the more you pay the more God loves you. And with beingvegan, The more pure the food is the healthier it is. As a carnivore, I eat both vegetables and meat.
