This was my second visit to the place and will say the food is not all there. I ordered a torta and flautas. The torta had good... taste, it was big with enough meat, but litte dried and the bun was too hard for me. The flautas plate was not good at all. Ithad a toothpick inside which I took a bite off and almost chocked on it. I didn't know what to make of it so I kept eating, butthere was no flavor, as if it were done with what you get when you scrape a cooking pan. It was tasteless and too expensive forthat. Only the letuce and the fried beans were good, the rest just went to the trash. I was disappointed...bad money spent. Theservice was very good tho, a nice lady, pretty with a warm smile made it all better... but I won't be coming back. The 3 starsgo to the experience overall, service, price, convenience and taste. The food here in general is very tasty it has that homemade flavor. My favorite to go are the Tortas since they?re so so... delicious specially the special. I always recommend this place and the best part of all is that I live just a few houses awayfrom Wendy?s tortas ???? Read more

I've only been coming this place for a few years but since then it has been my GO-TO spot for a good Torta or Quesadilla. The... staff is very friendly, you are seated right away and they will be attentive to anything you might need. The entire atmospherefor the restaurant reminds me of the old spots my parents used to take me to in Highland Park. Wendy's Tortas is, to me atleast, a staple of the Lincoln Heights community. If you are a fan of al pastor, this spot is one of my favorites, as well astheir carne asada and carnitas. Read more

Bomb food... Check ur receipt.. fee added if u use credit card/debit(they automatically add it).. Gratuity added automatically... for group of 5 ... And gratuity was added to subtotal so they charged taxes on the tip. . Again Bomb food just check urDine-in receipt before you pay.. I been coming here for awhile and always good food . But today I was disappointed they gave us tortas with rotten avocado I mean... really ???? we pay good money for good food not to get served rotten stuff! I will not be coming back here !!!!
