The Cats is a wonderful little restaurant/bar that punches way above its weight class in terms of great food(BBQ, steaks, etc.),... excellent service, and good entertainment. While getting there is an adventure (right off Hwy 17 just outside of Los Gatos),you'll hate leaving the place after dinner. Rustic, cozy, and pleasant, The Cats is a hidden gem that hits all the right notes.Its a "must" for people who love tasty homestyle food in a relaxed atmosphere. Read more
Took some family from out of town for dinner. Its very historic feeling almost felt haunted maybe. Anyways I ordered smoked... chicken and there it was enough for 2 people. The bartender/server was very nice and attentive and got made us copies of themenu because we couldn't do the qr scanner. I like that they serve root beer floats for your dinner. Two real non issues tomention. The ladies room was very musty smelling but clean and they put cinnamon on the cornbread which didn't go well with therest of the food. Read more
Meh. ???????? I'm sure its a good restaurant and probably has a great bar but please stop throwing EDM events here. Horrible... location horrible vibes. Sure, y'all have some nice lights and even a decent sound system but the vibes are WAY off here. I willnot be returning for future EDM events. Meh ???? Read more

First off, when your bathrooms have no soap, toilet paper, or anything else really other than a flushing toilet, you’re off to... a bad start. Secondly, the music was all over the place and really off putting for sure. This being a restaurant during the day,that sure as hell didn’t match. Get it together Cats. You’re better than this. BBQ not the same as when they had the oak grill but still pretty tasty. Saturday night DJ sets are super fun. Sauteed mushrooms... have stayed while owners have changed and they are still awesome! Read more
Bear in mind we went on Sunday of fathers day but the staff and food preparers were overwhelmed. After waiting 1/2 hour to sit... it was another 20 minites until a drink and food order was made. Then 15 more to have the drinks served. After we were done withthe drinks a 1/2 hour later, we got another drink and then the food 10 minutes later. We been there almost 1.75 hours before wefinnaly got to eat. Now the food was fine but they were out of many items. Our waitress offered a premium item for the price ofwhat we ordered. The item prices were reasonable I thought. I can't blame our waitress as she looked like she was doing the workof two wait stations. I think it will be a while until I come back. Read more
Middle of the road quality. Live music is fun but bands could be better. Good casual spot.
