The menu changed so much there's no selection for two persons for $20.00. For $20.00 there's only burgers, chicken sandwich or... rice bowl. We visit chilies because the menu selections for two were good and tasty. BUT NOT ANYMORE. The new items on themenu didn't taste good. Won't be back unless the menu is changed. Read more
We went to eat here for lunch and the experience was horrible. The servers are very rude.. making smart remarks and seemed to be... bothered by simply being asked for a side of dressing.. the food wasn't good.. They did not provide good customer service. Theyhad bad attitudes and although it's their job to check on their tables our server came to our table constantly and eveen stoodthere and watched as we gathered our money to pay and leave a tip. I am beyond disgusted with this chili's. The business was not there for the server to tell every single table that she was the... only one there. I waited 20 minutes for chips and dip and southwest rolls. Another 30 minutes for smokehouse combo. I had enoughand paid and left because the service was so bag and non existent... I tried to call to just vent my frustration and let themanager Holly know what was going on... First she told me she was out of prison.. Umm why does that matter to me... And then shetold me that I need to SIMMER down... Mind you I was not yelling nor cursing not being disrespectful and when I told her that asa manager you should not say that to a customer she said... Well that's you then hung up on me.. REALLY... I tried calling backto be told that Mark the other manager was too busy to deal with me and to call back later... I was worried about dinning at this restaurant again after I read several negative reviews. Yes, the restaurant is understaffed... there were only 3-4 servers when we went in, and the atmosphere felt like a ghost town. Because of this, although there are manytables available, you will not be seated immediately because only 10-15 tables are open to dine in. We had an excellent server.Once we were seated, she came immediately to take our order and the food was cooked right. She was attentive to our needs eventhough she was running around helping the other servers. We were very grateful, I can only imagine how overworked she might havebeen. I would say don't come to this restaurant if you're not a patient and understanding person. I think they're doing theirabsolute best with the staff they have and I saw a lot of 'now hiring' signs all over the restaurant. The staffing shortagesthey are experiencing, are beyond their control. We came in with about a party of 30 people unannounced after the allstar tournament for the kids. They were able to accommodate... us immediately helped each one of us. Including refills. Separate tickets and seating. Food was great service was great everyonewas helpful. Read more
I usually enjoy Chili's. I eat at the bar. I ordered a SW Salad with Salmon. That order came out wrong. My bartender... disappeared. No one checked in until I had finished. Just a suggestion, mow the front lawn. Hire help that cares. Travis, at Mariscos Altamar make margaritas ???? that are soon much tastier. I eat at Chili's on most every road trip. The two choice Smoke House Combo (~$20) was enough for two meals! ???? I got the baby back ribs and sausage. The ribs were fall... off the bone tender and tasty enough to spar with champion grill masters! Our wait staff was fantastic and is an example toother eateries in town that have some opportunities for improvement. One minor gripe is the sales pitch we got as we were beingseated ... I get marketed to at every corner as it is. I don't even recall what the pitch was about, but all I could think ofwas, "...NO! Not here, too!).
